Aang was a male Air Nomad born in the Xuiz Universe in 12 BG (1428 NE) and the Avatar during the century-long conflict known as the Hundred Year War and the First Multiverse War. His immediate predecessor was Avatar Roku. As the Avatar of his time, he was the only person capable of using all four bending arts: airbending, waterbending, earthbending, and firebending. He was also one of a select few Avatars, and one of the first in many cycles to learn the ancient art of energy bending, and the first Avatar known to have actively used the technique.
Shortly before the beginning of the Hundred Year War, Aang was frozen in an iceberg for a hundred years; he later emerged, still biologically twelve years old, into a world engulfed by war. During his absence, the Fire Nation had waged war upon the other nations and managed to completely wipe out the pacifistic Air Nomads and had formed an alliance with an outside force known as the Axis of Empires. It fell to Aang, the last airbender and the Avatar, to end the War by mastering the other three elements and defeating Fire Lord Ozai. He remained a kind and goofy kid at heart throughout his year-long struggle, despite the overwhelming loss of his people and the heavy burdens he was forced to bear.
After his victory over the Phoenix King (although the war on his homeworld would continue for decades to come as both the Combine and Nazis continued to fight on regardless), Aang began a romantic relationship with his close friend, Katara. The couple eventually married and raised a family of many children, both water and Air Benders.
Aang played a major role of creating a better relations between the four nations and reviving the Air Benders over time with his family for starters. Originally as head of the council to which created the United Republic as the fifth nation for benders and non benders from across the planet, and later other races to coexist in peace. Continued his duties as Avatar as a diplomat between worlds in service of the Alliance of Nations. Despite his extended lifespan, the affects of preserving himself in ice did a great number and knowing he would meet his end and left a great legacy behind for his people and trained his alternate self's next incarnation, Korra from the Yuiz Universe and would reincarnate as a Water Bender to continue the Avatar cycle in 1040 AG (2480 NE).
Biography[]
Early Childhood[]
Aang's background is much similar to others, born and raised in the Air Nomads in 12 BG, in his childhood he picked up some relics, unaware that they were familiar to him in a previous life, thereby inadvertently confirming his identity as the Avatar, taken to be trained to Air bend in the Southern Air Temple to be raised, educated and trained while under the guardianship of Monk Gyatzu, who served as his father figure, counselor, and tutor. After some time, he and several other young Air Nomad boys were taken to the Eastern Air Temple, where they each chose a sky bison as their lifelong companion. Aang approached his soon-to-be sky bison Appa and offered him an apple, which Appa accepted, thus marking the start of their deep and lifelong friendship.
Aang was exceptionally gifted in Airbending for such a young age than any other, even those twice his age, even invented the Air Scooter, making him the youngest Air bender in Xuiz Earth's history.
Post Hundred Year War[]
The Preserver[]

The Preserver, the Entity of Balance and Preservation
While Aang had helped rebuild his world after the Axis invaded, the Airbender received a visit of a dragon-like being named Shen who arrived to meet with him in 1533 NE, claiming to have been an old friend of his long ago. Invited to have tea by Iroh, Shen gave his congrats to the Avatar to bringing the end of the Hundred Year War and liberating his world from the corruption of the Axis and other worlders, the Air Bender first assumed he was a spirit by his clothes and familiarities of his world until Shen stated he is in fact from another planet and another universe, he had come and offer Aang an honorary visit to the Entity known as the Preserver with a role he will serve in the future for not just his people but for other realities as well. Taking him to the spirit realm to meet the Preserver due to its domain can only be allowed to enter and the dimensions within the Plains of Rebirth are both unpredictable and dangerous, Aang followed Shen through a forest region and met a large towering being.
The Preserver became aware of their presence and greeted the Avatar, offering its congratulations of stopping the Fire Nation and the defeat of the Axis temporally (as it pointed to the Germans and Combines still fighting on his homeworld). Aang's memories from his previous incarnations who met the entity resurfaced of meeting it before, questioned why it never stopped them when it was powerful, receiving an answer that his world was not the only reality that had been thrown out of balance and not the last as most of the Entities with sinister goals wanted to bring the multiverse into chaos, especially the Hunter, the most dangerous of them all. The Preserver had to allow the nanites into their bodies as it believed this version of Aang would play a role to help others, even by means of tampering with the Avatar cycle of his reality out of desperation.
The Preserver explained to the young Airbender, that he will face greater challenges in the future and will at some point in his now extended life would reincarnate, but not before he will bring his world back to balance for a new age with bring new knowledge and guidance for the four elemental nations by prolonging his lifespan as possible to complete his tasks as he would have originally die in the next several decades.
Aang realises the Preserver had a valid point when there are greater forces out there and believed that the Airbender will return in the near future, he was given information about other factions that practice in the spiritual arts and magic such as the Jedi who can help his world to survive another possible attack. The preserver will be able to provide help by protecting his world as possible, but advised him to be aware for an event known as Harmonic Convergence will take place and not allow his semi-immortality be seen as a burden as he can still die by natural causes. The Avatar thanked the Preserver's advice and hoped to see each other again, returning to the material plane and thanked Shen for the trip as he hoped to chat more to learn about his previous incarnations that the Herald knew.
Later Life[]
Sacrifice[]
Legacy[]
A funeral was set in the Air Nomads whilst also across the world to mourn for his passing, he was made the longest living Avatar in Xuiz Earth's history, his family and friends moaned for him, remembering the efforts and deeds he accomplished; ending the Hundred Year War, restoring the Air Nomads and brining the world to a new age, his family would continue to pass on his wisdom and teachings to preserve the balance. Zuko spoke of how he was once his greatest enemy, who became his friend and a brother to him. Korra, now a widow would miss him greatly and continue to do her part in helping others and be a mother to her children and her descendants.
But also, he would reincarnate into the next avatar cycle of which his former pupil, Korra would one day offer her help and give advice to the next avatar as he did for her.
Personality[]
Much of his personality follows very much the same as the main version, when he learned of the existence of other worlds Aang was both amazed and curious know about them, but weary upon the more dangerous threats such as the Combine and the Nazis for their atrocities to the Earth Kingdom. Taking the advice from the Preserver when he became aware of alternate series of his world and those who with a different Avatar, he took it upon himself to act as both mentor and aide should they need any help, such as when he offered to help the alternate version of Korra as another Avatar.
He slowly began understand there are others like him who went through the same path and received teachings from the Jedi who have fought to preserve the balance between Light and Dark from their universes. While reluctant to accept their advance technologies to make lives better due to being a strong belief of the use of Bending, he understood that the world cannot stay the same when he received many advise from others, even the Preserver to help his world be more able to defend itself should the Avatar be gone.
Caring deeply for his Airbending heritage and Culture to survive, he would want to pass on the knowledge and teachings to future generations and restore the Air Nomads before his time comes to an end. but also willing to add new changes.
He still maintains the childish and carefree behaviour such as his new found love of video games, toys, using his Bending for fun and games to please the fans.
Abilities[]
Bending[]
As a reincarnation of the entity known as the Avatar, Aang possessed the ability to bend all four elements, making him the most powerful bender of his time from the Xuiz Earth. Though Avatar Roku said mastering the elements could take many years, Aang was able to learn all four with considerable skill in less then a year, though technically, he did not completely master all four as stated by Zuko and Toph. As a result of his unconventional training, Aang never demonstrated most of the special subsets of the bending arts. However, he did display the abilities of lightning redirection and seismic sense, making him the first Avatar known to have learned these abilities. Most Avatars were not told of their status until they were sixteen years of age, but Aang had become a fully realized Avatar while he was still only biologically twelve years old. Thus, he became the youngest known Avatar to do so. As he was chronologically 112 years old, Aang also has the distinction of taking the longest to achieve this status. Even over the centuries, Aang had surpassed the many Avatars before him and would pass it on to his future incarnations to pass on the knowledge to preserve not only his homeworld but worlds from the Xuiz Universe.
Air Bending[]
By the time of the Air Nomad Genocide, Aang was already an airbending master, the youngest in history at that time. Aang achieved his mastery tattoos when he mastered thirty-five of the thirty-six tiers of airbending and invented a new airbending technique, the "air scooter", becoming the youngest known airbending master of his time at only twelve years old. The element of air was the one he utilized the most in battle. Once Aang began to learn the other elements, for tactical purposes, he relied less on airbending, though it continued to remain his signature element. As a master, Aang's skill with airbending was exceptional; he was able to fight on-par with strong and powerful masters or against large numbers of opponents, despite not finishing his airbending training. He was shown creating tornadoes and currents of air strong enough to lift or deflect extremely heavy objects. Aang's skill in air bending was highly improved, even perilous, though his pacifistic Air Nomad nature halted the use of air like a deadly weapon unless he was enraged or in the Avatar State. Instead, Aang used airbending for pure defense, evasion, or other round-about methods of combat other than aggression. When not in battle, Aang used airbending in his everyday life, often for flying with his Airbender staff, or simply to augment his natural agility. While in the Avatar State, Aang's airbending power was magnified to the point he could erode solid rock away with a powerful gust of air.
Aang's airbending skills, especially his skill with the air scooter, greatly improved over time, evolving from being able to ride one to creating multiple air scooters simultaneously without any difficulty. At age forty, Aang was shown to have mastered the air scooter to a much greater degree. This version was superior in terms of size and duration when compared to the ones he showed as a child and was capable of being used as a high-speed method of transportation, as Aang quickly caught up with Yakone, despite the latter having had a good head-start. Aang was also capable of standing on the scooter instead of sitting on it as he had done before.
Aside from his individual skill, Aang was also shown as a capable teacher, as he passed on the full extent of his airbending knowledge and techniques to his son Tenzin, who became a powerful master airbender in his own right.
