Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (Arabic: أبو بكر البغدادي; born: July 28th, 1969 as Ibrahim Awad Ibrahim al-Badri) is the leader of the Islamic militant organisation known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant and located in western Iraq, Libya, northeast Nigeria, and Syria. He was elected by the majlis al-shura, representing the ahl al-hall wal-aqd, of the Islamic State to be the caliph. He lead the group throughout the ISIS War up until his death
He was killed in April 15th, 2024, after Coalition forces, attacked his compound killing all within the compound; involving his men and his family.
