The Amissum Fratribus (Latin for "Lost Brothers"), also known as the TranStartes, Fallen Chapter, and Hidden Angels, or simply as Combine Space Marines, are fallen space marines of the Imperium of Man's Adeptus Astartes, killed, found by the Empire of the Combine Race, and resurrected as a TransHuman soldier, stripped of their sentience and forced to serve as the slaved elite soldiers of the Combine.
History[]
The Combine Space Marine was an project that Yilola saw great intrest in. The Marines that the Combine had first begun to fight during the early days of the Immperium-Combine war completely fascinated Yilola in how they turned normal humans into super humans and mostly being very capable weapons of war. Yilola decideded that using a human DNA structure was the best course of action for a reverse enginerring of the creation of Space Marines before the creation of Kilomintric Space Marines. While the Combine did have the technology to convert people into full fledge Space Marines already they didn't exactly need the technology nor did it come to Yilola's sadistic attention.
The Capture of Space Marines completly gave Yilola a full fledge fasciantion and would personally torture the Space Marines demanding how the Immperium turned them into Space Marines. Most of these Marines choice death although Combine science quickly found a way to prevent the Space Marines in commiting suicide.
Yilola gave the Combine Space Marine program a lot more funding than any project should have done and even pulled some from super weapons that Combine Military leaders boasted would bring a quick end to the war. Instead Yilola wanted an army to drag the First Multiverse war as long as possible.
Creation[]
It took 2 years before the first stable version of a Combine space marine was created from human Trans Race and a few volunteer Kilomintrics, these formed the Sons of the Emperor personally controlled by the Pure Combine Emperor. Their weapons would be far more experimental than even their current elite special forces would use as many wepons were created to be used solely by the Combine Space Marines. These included a modified dark plasma assualt cannon variant of the Imperium's assualt cannon
Usage[]
The Combine Adeptus Astartes rarely saw combat until the closing years of the First Multiverse war, near the end of the conflict mass production of the Marines began although this came too little too late as this was ordered after the apparent death of the Pure Combine Emperor. The Marines had a fairly successful career and even held a good combat record against the Third Human Republic. Fortunately the Marines were in too low numbers (even if there were around 10 million of them at the end of the First Multiverse war).
