Anakin Skywalker from the Gilo Universe is the variant version of Anakin Skywalker who instead of following his version of Palpatine, killed him and took his place as Emperor and founded the Jedi Empire. The Gilo version of Anakin Skywalker is an alternate universe in which he killed Palpatine before he could begin the Jedi Purge and saved the Skyriver galaxy, and was then killed by his apprentice with his clone trooper guard looking in confusion. After these events, Anakin took control and became the ruler of the Jedi Empire.

As ruler of the Empire, Anakin saought to make the galaxy a better place with his Grey Jedi followers now as his Imperial Knights. After the rapid death of his wife, Anakin then swore to give Luke and Leia a good childhood and personally raised their children, but for the first few years till they were 6 he gave them to be looked after by droids and his advisors, he would regularly visit them on occasions and made Luke the heir next in line.
