the Apollyon-Class Destroyer, or classified by the Combine Military as the Daeekiuhfierker (literally Dreadbringer)-class Mech, but often dubbed by Alliance personnel simply as Apollyon, is a massive, ultra-heavily armored arachnid-designed Combine mech created for the purposes of planetary destruction. The sheer size of the machine often terrifies Allied and Coalition personnel alike, as the machine typically stands around 96.6 kilometers (or 60 miles) high with a width of over 32.2 kilometers (20 miles) and a length of over 33.8 kilometers (21 miles) and generally armed to the teeth with weaponry powerful enough to vaporize entire regions in a 21 kilometer (13 miles) radius. Predictably, when the Combine puts this into a battle, it is often over for the force, including fellow Axis forces. Thusly, during the war, Alliance doctrine for a Apollyon was to focus all efforts at destroying the massive warmachine in whatever way deemed necessary.
However, due to the size of these machines, their were not that many Apollyon created over the course of the Combine's long history, and often only used as a last resort, but that still amount to well over 850 quadrillion Apollyons being built over the course of the Combine's history. While a fraction of the machines were destroyed in combat, most were destroyed by the Alliance when they discovered their holding facility during Operation Downfall, however approximately 80 thousands Apollyons were unaccounted for with 30% of that total number being found among the various Combine Remnants during the Remnant Wars and 5% found in the numerous Emperor's Final Orders facilities located across the Known Multiverse, leaving the remaining 65% still undiscovered.
