The Bajorans (also known as the "Bajora", Second Human Empire: Hamo Diz'oiki Bili'zii) were a humanoid species native to the planet Bajor in the Alpha Quadrant. The Bajorans had one of the oldest and richest cultures in the quadrant, though in the 24th century they suffered greatly at the hands of the Cardassian Union. With their liberation from the Cardassians and the discovery of the Bajoran wormhole in 2369 (1516 NE), the Bajorans were thrust onto the interstellar stage.
Biology[]
The Bajorans greatly resemble common humans by appearance, only distinguished by a series of four to seven horizontal creases across their noses.distinguished by 4-7 horizontal creases on the nose. The Bajoran heart is mirrored on a horizontal axis unlike a Human's. A puncture in a ventricle of the heart will instantly kill a Bajoran. The Bajorans' blood is red.
Bajoran women gestated for only five months, forming an intricate network of blood vessels between the mother and the fetus. During the pregnancy, Bajoran women were frequently afflicted by bouts of uncontrollable sneezing, roughly analogous to Human women experiencing morning sickness during pregnancy. During labor, the focus was on keeping the woman relaxed. The Bajoran original lifespan is at least 100 years (depending on certain universes with Combine Nanites).

Nuyi’zu Universe[]
In an alternate universe much like the Duyi'zu, the Bajorans were the opposite of their counterparts as conquerers and seek out conflicts with each other prior and established empires rather than Republics such as the First and Second Bajoran Empires. The Bajorans established contact with the Cardassians in the Deloris Belt with their lightships. By the 24th century, this fact was frequently mentioned in the propaganda broadcasts of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance as evidence of the historic bond between the peoples of Bajor and Cardassia.
The Bajorans made contact with the Terran Empire in 2255 (13XX NE) in the Bajor Sector, despite their efforts with their advance weapons and resources, they were eventually overwhelmed by the Terran Empire and conquered them. Supressing their religion of the Prophets underground, endured decades of labour force and abuse from their Terran Oppressors until at some point the Kling-Cardassian Alliance liberated Bajor with Empire of the Combine Race losing favor of the Empire's many defeats and joined the KCA and supported the Axis of Empires after crippling the Terrans' forces in 2305 (14XX NE), and enslaving the Terrans to work on many planets they looted.
Duyi'zu Beta[]
In an alternate universe much like the Duyi'zu, they were subjugated by the Cardassians for 50 years until they fought back to liberate their world, like their counterparts, they did not join the Federation immediately until they joined forces to face off the Dominion.
In the Nuyi’zu Universe, the Bajorans were one of the conquered races of the Terran Empire. They were liberated by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance when the Combine Empire turned against the Terrans and became leading members.
