Alastor, also known as The Radio Demon and born Barthélémy Laliberte is a male Sinner demon and one of the many powerful Overlords of Haei'tuusik Hell. Known for his wickedly charismatic trait who offered to assist Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Haei'tuusik Hell and owner of Hazbin Hotel in her endeavors, albeit, for his own amusement.

Early Life[]
Childhood[]
Born Barthélémy Laliberte in 1902 Haei'tuusik (2302 NE) in a small town in Mississippi to a white father and black mother and because of this would be born mixed race which he often struggled with as a child in a very racist 1900s era on Haei'tuusik Earth. Often bullied most of his childhood, as well as witnessing the abuse of his mother with his mother being the only person he truly loved, and well not born a psychopath or sociopath he would slowly begin to morph into. Over time becoming more and more cynical and hyper aware of what he saw as the weakness and patheticness of humanity.
In 1912 Haei'tuusik (2312 NE), Barthélémy at age 10, witnessed his father murdering his mother in a drunken rage, he would later that night kill his father repeatedly stabbing him in the stomach before displaying his intestines across the room his father would become his first victim he would then run away from home walking for miles and miles.
By the year 1916 Haei'tuusik (2316 NE), he would live in a small cabin near New Orleans at the age of 14, where he would spend much of his time hunting deer and eating them, on some rare occasions eating raw meat when he would not have firewood to light the fireplace.
In 1925 Haei'tuusik (2325 NE), Barthélémy moved to a small apartment in New Orleans and he would get a job at a Radio Broadcasting Company, broadcasting news and music Across New Orleans in a late November night, he would begin his first true Killing Spree murdering a man in the alleyway for no apparent reason other than him getting in his way. By the time the body would be discovered, the police would never be able to track him down
When he turned 24 in 1926 Haei'tuusik (2326 NE), Barthélémy would continue his murder spree with over 21 victims murdered, he would often lure them to his house with his kind and Charming Demeter before knocking them unconscious mutilating them, and hiding parts of their corpses in his closet as trophies. The rest of the remains would be thrown out in the night, and the local authorities would begin to investigate the disappearances. Within a year, Barthélémy would begin practicing voodoo magic as he begun to read about demonology and necromancy, however, Barthélémy was unable to truly master it. His murder spree continued with over 49 victims, including a few of his coworkers at the radio station. Barthélémy would also begin to start cannibalizing the corpses of his victims, not only because he began to enjoy it, but also because he was running out of place to hide parts of the bodies.
Within the year 1928 Haei'tuusik (2328 NE), the police would finally catch on with investigation beginning on Barthélémy. They would eventually discover the parts of corpses in the alleyway trash can outside his apartment, and his apartment would be rated by the police, where they have found several voodoo dolls, mutilated corpses, pickled jars containing human teeth and organs. Though Barthélémy will not be arrested, as that same day he would enter his radio station job, and begin to shoot up the entire building. killing nearly every single one of his coworkers and his boss, which he would brutally mutilate, ripping the man's mouth apart to permanently resemble a smile before writing a note on the wall out of the man's blood and guts reading "you're never fully dressed without a smile"
By 1929 Haei'tuusik (2329 NE), Laliberte would be on the run from the police and local authorities as he would be the most wanted man in all of New Orleans. nicknamed the Smile Killer, Barthélémy would continue to murder in the deserted alleys at night living in abandoned buildings on the edge of town before. Eventually moving to his old cabin outside New Orleans, where he would live for the next and last 4 years of his life taking on the alias and fake name Alastor.
Death[]
After 4 years, Alastor continued to lure in victims to murder mostly being hikers, or people driving through the area. By this point, Alastor would be known as the New Orleans Hatchet murderer, and would be considered by the authorities to be an entirely different killer, with the original smile killer identified years ago as Barthélémy Laliberte being widely considered dead or inactive. But one December night, one of his victims would escape, which he had been torturing for days now with the victim having a broken arm along with being covered in scratches, and bruises and a large laceration around his stomach, Alastor would follow with a large Hatchet, but simultaneously at this time, there was a nearby deer hunter with nearby hunting dogs by his side, one of the hunters aimed through the dark cold Forest and accidentally mistook Alastors to be a deer with his smooth brown hair just barely resembling the fur of a deer, and with that the hunter would fire a high caliber round the bullet would enter the back of Alastor's skull, tearing through his brain and coming out his forehead with blood gushing out his eyes would fill with blood and he would almost instantly die.
New Life in Hell[]
Like every human soul on his version of earth, Alastor would manifest in Haei'tuusik Hell, created by the god that took control of Haei'tuusik Earth millions of years prior to his birth, with his body resembling his original human body except for having sharp red claws small deer antlers with deer ears along with a small puffy tail which he would almost instantly hide out of embarrassment upon realizing he would speak realizing his voice was a radio frequency.
Within hours of his arrival in hell he would begin to go on a killing spree taking out overlords who had been dominant for centuries realizing his immense power he would Rampage across pentagram City ripping apart and mutilating hundreds of thousands of sinners they would of course respawn within a few minutes but the news of this event would still spread across hell with many giving him the title "the radio demon" and he would come to be considered one of if not the most powerful human souls in all of hell.

Personality and Traits[]
Alastor stands out from many of the more chaotic residents of Haei'tuusik hell for his well maintained amiable persona. He gives a first-impression of a good-natured and charming man, wearing a permanently wide grin on his face at all times. His behavior, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to an old-fashioned radio announcer and speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms such as "the picture show" and refers to Charlie as a "charming demon belle".
This playful dandyish exterior, however, obscures a much darker side to him - one with high levels of self-importance - and he will not hesitate to use physical violence when others don't act in line with his very particular values or expectations. He is noted to be narcissistic, with his love for himself being stated that no one else can measure up to it, and he does not see many people quite up to his level.
Alastor is described as a man of duality. He values good manners, affability and intelligence very highly in others, and will actively look down on those who do not meet his standards, however he will often play fast and loose with these arbitrary rules in regards to himself and his own conduct.
Alastor has an odd sense of morality, which is described as "not normal", and has been noted to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those that have incurred his anger. Despite this, he keeps close friends with the other cannibals of Hell, including the denizens at the Cannibal Town.
His smiling is a very self enforced form of ego and a show of power and dominance; he looks down on anyone who lets their true emotions show, and even when faced with a rival in strength, if they let slip a frown, Alastor will see them as truly weak. His smile is also to be more unpredictable and unnerving, and gives him a feeling of complete control over himself.
While Alastor is powerful, he is aware that there are other demons and entities that rival him in terms of power, such as other Overlords. For this reason, he is wary around such demons, as they could potentially harm him if he is not careful.
Despite everything, Alastor does genuinely seem to want to help Charlie run the Hazbin Hotel, albeit for his own amusement, and hopes for its failure over siding with her idealism. Alastor also dismisses the idea that redemption is possible as laughable, nevertheless, he fulfills his role as patron as promised, providing the hotel with staff, and protecting Charlie and her business from outside threats. He views the whole endeavor as a fun distraction from his decades of boredom.
Despite consistently having a confident and cheerful demeanor, he harbors a vulnerable side that becomes apparent when confronted with reminders of being "chained". In this instance, his facade of certainty crumbles, and he succumbs to panic attack.
