The Battles of Filo Coruscant in the Filo is a well-known string of 30 battles in the First War that lasting from 1416 NE to 2053 NE, quickly becoming a bloodied symbol of the War itself, during the first battle, most the Senators of the Galactic Republic were killed and a vast majority of planet's civilian population where killed in the battle, leading to the Alliance ordered an evacuation of the planet but only to have it fail and leaving only 3 Billion people saved from the planet's trillion population, one of the worse the Republic ever had. The first battle lasted for ten years and saw the planet be split between the Alliance and Axis in a massive series of trenchwork not too dissimilar to the trenches found in any Earths first global conflict before the Alliance gained the advantage and pushed the Axis off planet, at least for the next century. Once the Second began a full century after the first, it only saw with it a seemingly continuous conflict that only saw Coruscant be reduced to a wartorn wasteland that would take centuries to fully rebuild, but not without the sheer mind bogglingly sentient cost of it in the deathtoll of trillions on both sides of the conflict.

All the battles resulted in Alliance victories, although each and every one of them were hard fought campaign that scared those who partook, physically or psychologically, and the devastation it brought only served to demoralize many Republic personnel, but in time only hardened their resolve.

History

Prelude

Prior to the attack, the Outer Rim Sieges had enmeshed millions of Republic and Separatist warships in vast campaigns in the Skyriver Galaxy's spiral arms. As a result of this, most of the Republic's Jedi and the Allies were locked up in battles far away from the Core Worlds, and thanks to carefully controlled propaganda, the general populace believed that a total Republic victory was near, but the Alliance was not entirely convinced when the military advises suggest to send their allied forces to assist the Clone Troopers and Jedi. Even with the exposure of former a chancellor Palpatine's identity revealed as the Sith Lord and defeated, his former apprentice Count Dooku would take the advantage to exploit the Republic in its vulnerable state.

With the Republic fleets spread throughout the Outer Rim Territories and the Coruscant Defense Fleet depleted and off guard, the Confederates had an opportunity to deal a mighty blow to the Republic by attacking the capital, plotted by Emperor Palpatine of the Galactic Empire with knowledge of his History used to his advantage and sent Darth Vader to take the Republic by surprise. Palpatine planned a lightning raid on the planet led by General Grievous, Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies deployed by the Confederacy of Independant Systems. Grievous assembled an armada of thousands of destroyers and frigates—led by the Providence-class destroyer Invisible Hand—for a strike on Coruscant while Darth Vader launched a fleet of Star Destroyers.

Meanwhile the Jedi were informed by the Rebels from the Filo verse of the Empire's fleet passing through the Axis' dimensional gate, believing to be an invasion with Darth Vader providing support to the Confederacy. Anakin Skywalker, in fear for his family's safety provided his wife Padme Amidala to leave for Naboo due to her later stage of pregnancy with her second daughter, Anjyl Skywalker, while also being told by her husband to take the twins with them in fear of a vision he witnessed in his meditation of what could happen to Coruscant and the possibility of an assassination attempt.

Combine Occupied Sectors

On the Axis side of Coruscant during the occupation, the Axis started to relocate any surviving civilians into Concentration Camps/Death Camps. Many survivors who managed to escape these Death Camps, told stories of the combines randomly selecting five hundred and fifty prisoners and simply executing them where they then take the bodies to an unknown location. They also told stories of Chimeraskilling and eating prisoners.

Changing Fate

While the battle had been in ruined, a Time Lady named Endea, along with Herald of the the Timekeeper plotted an idea of changing the events of the war by using a trans dimensional shift device to switch Filo Coruscant to a pocket universe (in which she learned from The Doctor saving Galifrey in the Time War) for the time being or send the inhabitants out of danger, making it appear as if the planet was devastated and lives were lost. When received information the Chimera were beginning to launch a suprise attack in the final battle by 2053 NE, they set up a plan to save it and make it believe to everyone it was devastated in battle by using a random world of the same size. However, doing such a task was a tricky one and called the Doctor, some Heralds, even Alliance scientists to perform a task using a device to phase the planet. Many Alliance officers, even the Republic were baffled of this possibility and ask why she would do such a thing, Endea answered she seen enough devastation and the future of what would happen if the Galactic Republic fell, being one of the important members of the Alliance, denying the Axis the chance to gain a victory and willing to alter the fate of the planet to save lives. Leaving signs on buildings that say ‘Coruscant Stands’.

The Combine took noticed something was happening and attempted to increase their firepower, only to suddenly froze in a temporal stasis which for them only appeared normal but slow to the rest of the universe, given the Republic a chance to set a trap for the fleet before the effects wears off. Using the transmit to sent the majority of the population to a remote world far in the galaxy,those who were unaware of this plan believed many on the surface had perished but survived but cut off from the Republic thanks to Endea's interference.

Notes

• Much to the horror of the Clone Army, Jedi Order and Alliance Joint Military, the Combine and Chimeras started strapping bombs on Coruscanti children and send them to the Alliance's Front lines where they wait for the Allied soldiers to take them to the trenches then detonate the bombs on the children causing havoc and destruction on the Allied Trenches
