Belle Florian was a female Human from the Malica Universe, is the only daughter of Maurice Meunier, an inventor with whom she resides in a small French village and her late mother, Rosalind Meunier. The townsfolk labeled Belle an outcast because of her free spirit. She is also a proud bibliophile, her favorite genres being fantasy and adventure. Belle's passion for fantastical stories, coupled with her outcast status, left her yearning for a life of adventure outside her small village. She unexpectedly gets her wish when she becomes the Beast's prisoner in order to save her father's life. During the Worlds War with the Heartless crisis, she was in fact one of the current Princesses of the Hearts, as a target by the Organization XIII and Maleficent. She was saved by Beast along with Sora Yujo, Donald and Goofy.

She eventually helped break his curse after saving his life after Geston's fall, restoring him to humanity among his subjects to restore everyone's memories by the curse. Over the years, she helped her newly wedded husband among other kingdoms on her homeworld to found the Kingdoms of Auradon which eventually came to come into contact with the Terran Empire and fought along side it against the United Galactic Federation and eventually the Empire of the Heartless. Taken up to protect their son, Ben Florian when he was a child.

Biography

Heartless Civil War

WIth the Heartless Empire fractured and splintered into various factions fighting over territories, Belle assumed it had to happen with many villains and warlords have been at each other's throats and the death of their Emperor, Ansem the Seeker, even Maleficent alone would not be able to hold the empire together, allowing the Commonwealth forces to regain their strength and numbers to take advantage of the chaos the Empire was in and put an end to the war at long last.

Iwurune

In 451 AXC (1711 NE), Belle with her husband joined a team to track down one of the imperial forces who crashed onto a remote planet, while at the time to resupplies he thought to learn much about the wildlife and the region, accompanied by Adam to make sure she didn't wondered off and joined her. During their exploration whilst waiting for updates on the Imperials' whereabouts, Belle felt they were being followed, even her husband agreed in his beast form to sniff something, but assumed it was some local animal. But back in the camp at night, she discovered one of the books was missing until finds it by some small being in the shadows, surprising her and the team when only to discover it was a small girl, no more than 7 years before she ran off into the forest. Belle tried to give chase, but saw how the trees moved and blocked her path before she could reach out to her and explain they wanted to speak to her.

The next day whilst thinking of the little girl from that night, Belle and her group were surrounded by winged horned natives, the leader of the group demanded what they were doing on their world and Bella responded that her group arrived on their world by accident.

Powers and Abilities

While in her youth, Belle displayed no signs of magic until years later, but with her inquisitive nature magnified by Stellar Magic and understanding about magic and curses after what happened to her husband, Belle is able to discover new spells and abilities from the books she finds on her journeys. She’s a powerful healer, and a loyal protector with a keen sense of adventure. Although not born with magic, she is equipped to stand against the Heartless and other magic-based threats.

Princess of Hearts

Because Belle was a Princess of Heart, she has many special abilities that are heightened or activated when she is joined with the other princesses:

• Her main power was to use her heart to open the Final Keyhole to Kingdom Hearts, which can only be opened when she is gathered with the other six princesses.
• In this exclusive group, her heart can also be used to create the Keyblade of heart and enable the bearer to unlock anyone's heart.
• Also, as her heart only contains pure light, she can fight back the darkness (she can perform this task alone, but it has stronger effects when she is with the other princesses).
• When Jasmine, Alice, Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora enhanced Sora's Fire spell, she was absent; however, it is assumed that she has the power to increase their powers as well, as Princesses of Heart possess the same powers.
• She and her fellow princesses also have a sixth sense to locate darkness, as shown when Alice, Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White and Cinderella tell Sora of a great darkness approaching. This came into use during the War, not only against Heartless, but other shadow creatures as well.

Belle's staff

Belle’s staff holds an enchanted rose, a powerful magical keepsake that channels her abilities. Her thick cloak and traveling gear keep her prepared for adventure, and her trusted spell tome is filled with enchantments for aiding her allies.
