Ben Florian is the son of Belle and Adam Florian from the world of Auradon, believing in the freedom for all worlds and inspired by the stories of heroes in the past and keyblade Wielders against the Empire of the Heartless, Ben in this reality while a former prince while a citizen of the Kingdom of Auradon and chose to use his skills to good use while also seeking to be a good leader to his people one day. He was a child when the war happened and placed in stasis for many years until he was awoke by his parents to find much has changed, but easily adapted.
Taking a role in the Heartless Civil War to rescue the imperial Princess Mal Bertha who turned traitor against her empire and eventually his lover to help bring down the Heartless Empire, helping the Keybladers to end the war and married Mal.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Ben was conceived and his mother found out she was pregnant with him, she recalled how she asked about having a family, Adam knew she wanted to have children sometime with them being around for so long and asked what brought his up until she pointed her stomach and realised what she meant, while in joy while also grew concern of protecting his family with the war that has been waging for centuries and with the Empire of the Heartless expanding across the worlds of Malica but were positive to make this new life for their child
He was born and grew up on his homeworld with his parents, given a simple childhood and enjoyed the stories of heroes especially those who possess magical weapons known as Keyblades. In his childhood he was greeted by a person who told him of his future about meeting a “girl with purple hair and green eyes” and said will change his life. Not sure what that meant until the stranger left without a trace. Pondering what it meant. Grew up in the academy to take up interest in helping others.

When Ben received news of the return of the legendary Keyblade Wielders, the prince was excited to meet them and surprised how they had not aged a day in the last four centuries but learnt they were put in stasis by some unknown group for reasons not uncertain. He introduced himself to them as the son of Belle and the Beast, receiving some surprise how he looks like them.
Infiltration of a Ball[]
He aided Sora, Kairi, Riku and Lea to slip passed a fleet of ships in orbit an imperial planet within the Heartless Empire’s borders when they found out one of the Commonwealth’s agents was inside a palace planning a ball to invite to receive intel posing as guests using masks among some for the theme for disguise. He advised the keybladers to be very cautious when he discovered some of Warlords were present and some of their old enemies still alive, going undercover with masks to cover their identities. It was during the party when they discovered to their shock of finding Xehanort present as the main guest, announced as the Emperor and had to be very careful if they are discovered.

It was also to their further shock to hear the announcement of an Imperial princess and daughter of Empress Maleficent, Mal Bertha in person (while calming down the utter shocked Riku and Sora from drawing attention) they never realise she had a daughter. Ben ended up caught up in a crowd of royals and male guests who wishes to gain her attention, and those who tempted to ask her hand to dance, knowing it be too risky to stay too long, Ben was able to slip through and lost track of his friends but received a contact to act natural, he was about make his leave to join the others after they got what they needed when unexpectedly earned the attention of the princess herself.
Controlling his emotions and not show too much nervousness, Ben acted casual and bowed his head in respect to not offend her with many guests observing. Politely asked why she came up to him of all those who with well known titles where her response was that they were told ‘needy and full of huge egos’ that bore no interest to her and found him to be different and also one of those who wears the mask. Much as Ben wanted to not draw too much attention or risk his identity exposed if she knew who he was, came up with an excuse to say the mask covering his face was just for part of the orders from the other nobles who may be rivals and relieved that she bought it. Decided to risk it to buy his friends time and asked if she wishes to dance and the princess accepted it.
Finding it surprisingly going well and until an explosion exploded caused by someone in an attempt to target the princess, but he threw her aside to without thinking and knowing she is the enemy did not seem right to have someone take the fall for their parents' actions. With the guards in action and panic among the guests, he was able to sneak away after telling her to go with the guards.
Having to found out it as made by some rivals in an attempt to take political power and the princess was the target, he didn't tell them that he had inadvertently saved her for unknown reasons.
Unexpected Reunion[]
In 443 AXC (1703 NE), having to take a trip to Ivalice, Ben was to meet up with the Commonwealth soldier Alice Maryworth and an armoured individual named Lincoln Garcia, a liberated Transhuman accompanying her in the coastal region of Ordallia, despite willing to come and meet them without guards but took his father's advice to meet the Alliance soldier who was informed of something going off with the Heartless in the recent months that caught everyone's notice as if they were acting against their summoners' bidden but word of the new breed being created. They were told to be meeting someone but unable to know who as the individual was unknown.

Walking through the city and seeing the view of the beach, he was suddenly greeted by a blonde girl, at first he was taken by her features but couldn't help but saw her somewhere before, out of no where, they were tacked by the feral type of Heartless and chased after the two when learned the blonde was the informant. Alice found them and told them about the strangeness of the Heartless and Nobodies since the arrival of the two new individuals proclaiming to be brothers of the old Empire: Fide and Chusei that have become known to them recently and discover the Heartless Empire are creating a new more powerful breed of Heartless using other alien genes such as the Necromorphs that are known to Lincoln who had encountered them in the past. They were curious to how she knew all this but Ben mentally realised who she is until the sudden arrival of a white armoured 'knight' named Fide manifested and chased after them to their ships, both he and the blonde were cut off from them when Fide called her out by her name and title, Princess Mal.
Went onto her personal shuttle and barely managed to reach orbit when surprisingly how he clinged to the thrusters and managed to shake off with her magic but caused some damage to the shuttle, forcing them to make an emergency landing somewhere after jumping through warp drive and landed on a remote habitable world. Carefully landed the cruiser but found some damages done by the bizarre attacker had down, he found she had been injured by the attacks and offered to help despite her protest to use her magic but insisted for her to sabe her strength, earning the confusion for why he was helping her even if she is an enemy of the empire, he replied why she was helping them. She explained her mother was going insane to use the Heartless and found them not only terrifying but how there be nothing left in their universe if it continued.
As he told her who he was and actually turned out she recognised him from the ball months ago but never said anything nor had the chance to thank him for that night as he assumed to be saving her. Ben discovered the ship's communications would take a while to fix up and best to settle in on the planet as it is known to the Commonwealth in their borders. They soon learnt that this planet had ancient ruins of a precursor civilisation, unable to know who inhabited this world and found marking similar to the Keyblades and Kingdom hearts but also some figure trapped inside it, believing be some ancient war that occurred.
With word of an alliance vessel arriving tomorrow and also an Imperial shuttle on the other end, he suggested they get some sleep before they arrive. Ben asked if she wanted to come over, but declined as she could not turn against her mother in fear of her wrath, saying she wanted to live up to her expectations and argued that she would just be like her mother one day, but he denied it and says there's light in her heart despite how she claimed to be. In the heat of the moment they made passionate love as she stated was to experience a moment of freedom. Waking up and left his communicator for her as a Ranger ship arrived to receive his call, he stated he was the only one on that shuttle as they had to leave before an Imperial cruiser makes its way. However he was told of the message by Mal the Kingdom Hearts must not be open from her message.
Awakening of the Malican Emperor[]
Ben was gathered among the council and discovered that a new powerful foe Hitt'lon Zizz'lii broadcasted his message throughout countless worlds of his intention of reviving his Malican Empire and crush all who resist, but also to destroy all, srurpsied by his sudden attack on the Heartless Empire and the Axis forces with his incredibly power. Unable to receive any response to Mal but told she was in hiding according to some spies who last saw of her.

Rescuing Mal[]
When word of the Heartless Empire severally weakened after the defeat of Ulciscor and Xehanort, without the Heartless they would not last much longer even with the Axis support. Agreeing to some his allies that this would be the Commonwealth and the Alliance's opportunity to take advantage. In June 8th, 444 (1704 NE), they received an emergency transmission from none other than the princess Mal herself being held prisoner by the remnants of the Garlean Empire and pleaded for help. Unable to ignore it and wanted to go and rescue her with the help of Sora and Riku to help and get her out of danger.
Defeat of the Empire[]
With the celebrated victory for the Union and the Alliance, Ben Took part in the celebration with his friends with the end of the Heartless Empire with the defeat of Xehanort and Maleficient, comforting his wife over the loss but was assured she would be fine and focus in raising their family without worry as the Axis forces had been driven out of their reality with the remnants now having lack of support. He heard the news of the majority of the Republic council voting on the fate of the generals and officers’ fate, Ben and most of others did not approve of many to be executed and felt they needed to be better than the Imperials. Ben had managed to sway only those who were less of a threat be sealed in a pocket realm to serve their sentence as the rest were too dangerous to live.

Commonwealth Election[]
With the war now over for Malica to finally recover from the four centuries of war, he celebrated with his family on Auradon. Ben attended to the senate with word of the Commonwealth's elections coming up, Ben was thought to given the idea but wanted to focus on helping his homeworld, but found out some politicians he is familiar with were eager to be Chancellor Christopher's successor, he learnt from Mal that she recognised some as former sympathisers of the Axis and also Human-supremist, concerned for the wellbeing of the Commonwealth if one of them succeeded in the election, they chose to support the current chancellor on his effort to restore the worlds recover from the war as his final act as Chancellor if re-elected.
On his leave from Gaia to return to Auradon, he received a surprising visit by Reinhard Forest as one of Christopher's political opponents, acting friendly to the former Auradon prince, Ben easily caught on to what he meant by helping their kind as in only human but not the other races for the Commonwealth. Flatly declining his offer of support for vote, holding his emotion of having his family being referred as a 'disgusting witch and their half-breed spawns' knowing his true colours and held the recording of their conversation in secret which would be used against him.
Personality[]
Ben has been known to be kind hearted and was willing to give some a second chance but also took after his father in looks and his mother in personality as he is more willing to see people past their appearances (similarly to how his mother saw beneath his Beast's exterior) along with having a love of reading and books as well as a gentle soul. Willing to fight for what he believes in when he was inspired by the heroic stories of the heroes from the past and while also concern for the welfare of his people affected by the Great War that came to their world
He seemed to have a fascination with Mal the moment he first saw her, and it seems the feeling is mutual especially since both had a dream about the other before their meeting. Even after discovering she was an imperial princess and the daughter of one of Malica’s most powerful foes as he was willing to rescue her when she was held prisoner by the Niflheim Empire, he believed she loved him but didn't think it could happen by itself. He still grew to love her and wanted to be with her. He is a very friendly and honest person who believes in the good in others. He is fair and patient, understanding that those lived under the Heartless Empire have had it much rougher than anybody else, and was willing to work with them and do whatever it took to have them trust him. He also believes who a person's parents are doesn't make them who they are and that is what makes him and Mal so similar.

Ben developed some skills from his mentors to be able to protect himself, has developed some skills of tech from his grandfather Which awakens some magical traits form his mother’s side, a possibly effect due to when she was a former Princess of Hearts. Intelligent and physically active, he took up lessons from the keybearers of how to use a weapon for self defence.
