Benjamin Sisko was a male Terran privateer who worked his way out of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance's slave mines and earned himself a position serving the Intendant Kira Nerys, who operated out of Terok Nor. Later, he became a leader of the Terran Resistance Forces to overthrow the rule of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance and the Empire of the Combine Race.

Biography[]

Like his Duyi'zu counterpart, Sisko married Jennifer Sisko, but they did not have any children, he found himself very devoted to his ship and its exploits. Furthermore, he decided to work for Intendant Kira. It was this that prompted Jennifer to leave him. Sisko became Kira's consort, and commanded a small raiding ship crewed by other Terrans, charged with collecting "duties" from passing ships. Although Sisko resented his position under the Intendant, he had no desire to become a "hero" or resist the Alliance's rule, or even dare stand up against the Combine as he knew they would already have conquered almost all of the galaxy.

When he met Kira Nerys from an alternate universe in 2370 (1517 NE), the thought of the possibility of being free of Alliance control, combined with Kira's assertion that he was still just a slave but didn't realize it, convinced him to change his mind and reject the Intendant's authority. He helped Kira and Bashir escape from the station, and took Miles O'Brien, whom he nicknamed "Smiley," into his crew. Sisko promised to "shake things up a little" in his universe.

Sisko had made several contacts during his service to the Intendant, some of which he was still able to take advantage of-after rebelling against the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance and also to prepare for the bigger fights against the Combine when word would reach them very soon. One of those contacts sold Sisko a small flitter. Sisko kept his word and the Terran Rebellion took shape. However, he was killed in 2371 (1518 NE), when the Combine arrived and destroyed the small fighter he was piloting in his mission to recruit his estranged wife, Professor Jennifer Sisko to leave Terok Nor and work for the rebellion.

He was succeeded as leader of the Terran Rebellion by O'Brien, desperate to complete Sisko's mission, Smiley recruited Benjamin Sisko from Kira's universe to finish his task. Sisko assumed the guise of his deceased counterpart, successfully fooling everyone from Julian Bashir to Elim Garak to the Intendant herself. He didn't fool Jennifer Sisko, however, but was nevertheless successful in convincing her to leave the station.

O'Brien admitted the Rebellion was better off without him due to his brash tactics and constant internal fighting which he provoked and were later supported by the Alliance of Nations in their Rebellion years later .

Personality and Traits[]

Although Sisko shares a lot traits and was a great tactician like his prime counterpart, the difference between the two was his stubbornness and abrasive behavior, he didn't get along with anyone very well. His marriage to Jennifer Sisko, a privileged Terran scientist was not all that well and hardly got along with each other, had not seen her in over five years. According to Smiley, they never should have been married in the first place.
