The Zoi'liu malevolent entity known only by the moniker Black Hat for the past few centuries, was an infamous, and self-professed supervillain who had terrorized the Zoi'liu Universe for anywhere between 3.2 to 1.2 trillion or so years up until his abrupt retirement 70 years before first contact between Zoi'liu and the wider Multiverse occurred in 2399 NE, but Black Hat continued to influence the universe via his organization which specialize in selling weapons, gear, and tech to any number of wouldbe villains, warlords and criminal bands, quickly becoming the go-to option for much of Zoi'liu's lawless and or villainous groups and peoples.

In 4287 NE, Black Hat's name was among the many beings contained in the Cage listed as highly dangerous entities, although only listed as omega priority being to be arrested and contained but otherwise assumed by many to be dead.
