History[]
Biology[]
Species of Centaurs[]
- Centaur: A variety of centaurs native to the Raai'kilziu Universe, this species practiced a species wide program of eugenics that slowly morph the bigendered species of roughly equal status into two decidedly different groups with strong, dimwitted and unattractive males and highly intelligent, graceful and beautiful females, which became a problem as females of the species became increasingly more put off by their males and look to human males instead, likely turning the species entirely female in a few generations like what likely happened with the Arachne, Harpy, and Lamia species of that universe until Alliance discovery and interactions with other centaur species slowly reversed this.
Centaur-like Races[]
- Andalites, a species that resembles centaurs in Animorphs.
- Chironians: a species from the Skyriver galaxy of the universes such Filo Universe, and Viau Universe which physically resemble Centaurs and are named after Chiron, a wise Centaur scholar featured in Greek mythology.
- Vedran: A Blue-skinned species from the planet Tarn-Vedra, Vuytti Universe and founders of the Systems Commonwealth.

Notes[]
- Like the races of humans, Orcs, Elves and Dwarves, the Centaurs are a common race or term, which makes sense as they, as well as the aforementioned Orcs, Elves, and Dwarves are all offshoot species of humans.
- Although this does not explain all Centaur species, like Vedrans, who appear to be avian in nature rather then mammalian.
