Chiana is a female Nebari from the Fuii'zuni Universe who was a member of the Moya crew during the First War. At some time in their older childhood or younger teens, Chiana and her three-years-older brother Nerri fled their home on Nebari Prime, seeking a different life. Literally on her own, Chiana continued her life, presumably more desperate than ever, for some time before being arrested by Imperial police forces. Agonizingly tortured for information about a 'resistance' she knew nothing about, and sentenced to be 'mentally cleansed', Chiana was in transit back to Nebari Prime when Moya (literally) ran into them.
