The Syndulla clan was an influential Twi'lek clan on Ryloth. Among its members were Cham Syndulla, who led the Twi'lek Resistance against the campaign of the Confederacy of Independent Systems on Ryloth and later led the Free Ryloth Movement against the oppression of the Galactic Empire, his wife Eleni Syndulla, and their daughter Hera Syndulla, who became a member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Hera would eventually go on to have a son with the human Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus named Jacen Syndulla, who was born after his father's death. Jarrus posthumously became a member of the Syndulla clan when Hera added him into the family Kalikori.
