Consentia Major was the wife of the current Senator Mamercus Livius Major as representatives of the Roman Republic, she was the daughter of a Roman general who fought in the Gistahl War and orphaned at a young age, to meet SG1 of the Tau'ri-Jaffa Alliance, an allied faction of the Alliance of Nations in 1603 N.E.. Although she was skeptic of the Allies’ claim of being from another universe which was alien to her people until they provided proof of their version of Earth which was more advance and thousands of years ahead by time, this was proven by their Jen’thori allies who had been aware of it. Consentia discussed this with her husband to support an alliance with them for the benefits of the Republic and also should the Gistahl ever return, but that changed of the rumors of a war that made her fearful for her family should it spread to their worlds.
