Corporal Damon Baird was a allied soldier who was an expert in several technical and mechanical fields. He also appears to be an expert in collecting and analyzing Axis weapons, other equipment, artifacts and documents.[4] He joined the Allies army, and soon after met Roebuck, who became his best friend. Fourteen years later he was a member of Alpha Squad during the Imperial Offensive. After the successful conclusion to the offensive, he was assigned to lead Sigma-One with Cole, taking part in several battles against the Axis and the Horde.
