Darth Vader is a Force-sensitive Human male who served the Galactic Empire as a Sith Lord in the Viau Universe. Born to the slave Shmi Skywalker in 41 BBY (1373 NE) as Anakin Skywalker. His counter part of the Filo Universe whom never turned to the Dark Side continued to serve the Jedi Order.
Following the Battle of Naboo, the Jedi High Council admitted Anakin Skywalker into the Order as the Padawan of Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi despite feeling that he was too old and emotional to adhere to the Jedi Code. Skywalker remained a Padawan through the beginning of the Clone Wars, instigated by events set in motion by Count Dooku. Although Jedi doctrine prohibited personal and romantic relationships, Anakin Skywalker had a secret wife, Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo. During the early days of the Clone Wars, Skywalker served as a Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic, commanding the clone troopers of the elite 501st Legion against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. After receiving his knighthood, Skywalker oversaw the Jedi training of his own apprentice, Ahsoka Tano. By 19 BBY (1395 NE), when Tano walked away from the Jedi Order, Skywalker began to struggle with feelings of failure towards his apprentice and the Order itself.
Following the death of Count Dooku nearing the end of the war, Anakin Skywalker's faith in the Jedi was further shaken when he was put on the Jedi Council without the rank of master. He also learned that Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine was Darth Sidious, the elusive Dark Lord of the Sith who orchestrated the war in order to take over the Skyriver galaxy. Manipulated into believing that the Jedi had failed him and coupled with his fear of losing Amidala in childbirth, Skywalker betrayed and turned against the Jedi Order, believing Sidious had the knowledge to cheat death. Consumed by the persona of Darth Vader, the fallen Jedi Knight marched his legion on the Jedi Temple of Viau Coruscant where they executed its inhabitants, including Jedi younglings, as part of Order 66 and the Great Jedi Purge. Vader was then sent to Mustafar to exterminatethe Separatist Council at the behest of his Sith Master, who became the self-proclaimed Galactic Emperor. Vader subsequently sustained severe injuries in his duel with Kenobi, and was rebuilt as an armored cyborg while his wife died of a broken heart, though not before giving birth to the twins Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa who were hidden from their father and the Emperor as the Galactic Empire rose to power.
Vader embraced his role as the Emperor's right hand, hunting down Jedi survivors, crushing Separatist holdouts and ensuring the fulfillment of "his" Empire's policies for centuries to come, actions that awarded him special powers and ultimately the position of Supreme Commander of Imperial Forces. The Sith Lord trained a number of secret apprentices and other Dark Jedi disciples, though his plans to overthrow his master had not advanced far when the Galactic Civil War erupted between the Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic in 2 BBY (1412 NE). In 0 BBY (1414 N.E.), the Death Star—the Empire's greatest superweapon—was destroyed by a young Rebel pilot despite Vader's efforts, and the Sith Lord became obsessed with discovering the pilot's identity, only to learn that it was Luke Skywalker: his own son, born before Amidala's death.
Vader continued to pursue both Skywalker and the Alliance over the many years, finally luring his son into a trap on the mining colony of Cloud City in 3 ABY where the two dueled. Vader revealed his identity to Luke Skywalker, though his son refused to join him and escaped. When Darth Sidious learned of Skywalker's existence as well as the alternate version of his Filo counterpart's failure to bring the alternate Anakin to the Dark side, he set in motion his own plans to recruit Luke Skywalker to one day replace Vader, but Skywalker surrendered himself to Imperial forces on the forest moon of Endor in 786 ABY (2190 NE) in hopes of redeeming his father and turning him back to the light side. During the Great Battle of Endor, Skywalker and Vader fought each other, and Vader refused his son's attempts to redeem him, learning that Skywalker had a twin sister named Leia in the process. Defeated by his son, but the Jedi refused to strike down his father in anger, causing the Emperor to torture Luke with Force lightning. The pain inflicted on his son awakened the part of Vader that was still Anakin in him, abandoned the dark side and sacrificed himself to destroy the Sith Emperor, fulfilling the prophecy of the Chosen One. Mortally wounded, he made peace with his son and became one with the Force, though his reputation, his legacy, and his family endured for centuries afterwards.

Enter Luke Skywalker[]
Hunt for Skywalkers[]
Troubled by the thought, Vader returned to his ship. Aboard the Nubian, Aphra told him that Fett wanted to report in during Vader's absence. Subsequently, Vader traveled to a Star Destroyer to meet with the bounty hunter and hear his story. The Dark Lord was disappointed to hear that Fett had lost the boy, but before leaving, Fett told him his name: Luke Skywalker, but also confronted another he knew in he last, Anakin Skywalker. In his solitude, Vader remembered Padmé telling him about her pregnancy, and Darth Sidious' half-truth, and the new found existence of different universes ,and cracked the viewport in his anger. Thereupon, he used his meditation chamber's holoprojector to contact his master, but chose to say nothing about his son; rather, Vader assured him that he would not fail and ended the transmission. Nevertheless, he accepted Luke as his son and vowed that the boy would be his. But to discover the one claiming to be his counterpart will die.
Determined to find out more about Luke and also his counterpart who came from a universe called Filo Universe according to the Combine database in the universes they explored. He learned about the Clone War still carried on, and also learned not only their version of Anakin ever turned it the Dark Side, but defeated its version of the Emperor before he could begin his plans. Finding whatever he can about Anakin to one day confront him should the two one day meet.
Pol Earth Occupation[]
Vader arrived on his personal Star Destroyer to represent the Galactic Empire while Darth Sidious would personal greet the Combine to the Imperial Centre. Discovered that the planet the Combine called 'Pol Earth' as a variation of an alternate world they once subjugated years ago until the uprising. Learning this Earth was vastly primitive and barely learned to leave their planet while in a middle of a planetary conflict called "World War 2". Landing his shuttle to the city of Berlin to meet the political factions calling themselves the Greater German Empire, unimpressive by their boasts and political belief, he considered to use them for potential pawns and proved to them that the Galactic Empire be a valuable ally to the new Axis by launching a fleet to the North American continent with the Combine to support them and crush the American forces. He considered taken some states under the control of the Empire with the Germans limited of their resources to control another continent despite their protest but convinced their leader for return of resources from other worlds.
Gave his reports to the Emperor that the invasion was a success but grew doubt of the Nazis could have succeeded had it not been for the Combine's timely arrival, also discovered that their reality and two other Earths were not in the same time era after further research from the data on the Human-Vorgaunt federation's history. Uncertain for why their universes were not in the same time set, but dismissed it and returned to his universe to confront the Galactic Republic.
Truth Revealed[]
Plot against the Emperor[]
Darth Vader began to doubt his master from the moment he realised the truth of his wife’s death by Sidious’ manipulations years ago, while joining the Axis of Empires made the Empire more stronger, but lost much of the territories of their home galaxy to the New Republic he saw the Emperor as weak to depend on the Combine, secretly plotting and building his own plans to take over the Galactic Empire to bring order to the Empire to its actual path he envisioned.
Rather than to plan against the Emperor, he would use the time needed to make the perfect moment to strike, knowing the Emperor would have strong allies and aware of his motives ahead and played the long game should he somehow escape death or survive.
The Soul Calibur[]
With the war between the Galactic Empire and the New Galactic Republic continued between the two universes as of 1592 NE, Darth Vader sensed a faint ripple of power. It was a very small sensation, but he did not dismiss it, and began an investigation in secret.
The ripple came from a disturbance that sporadically appeared in one specific region of space. As time passed, the frequency of the disturbance, as well as the strength of its effect, increased. It soon became a constant distortion, and others began to realize that something strange was happening in the Col universe as well.
However, because Darth Vader had been observing the phenomenon from the start, he already knew the cause of the distortion. A being from a different dimension was attempting to open a portal into their universe. Various data indicated that a massive power lay at the core of the disturbance.
With that possibility in mind, Darth Vader arranged for the securing of the area of the Viau Verse where the distortion existed, and received a report that a dimensional portal had opened to a new universe. After waiting for conditions to stabilize, Darth Vader proceeded forward into another reality.
He searched for the origins of the wave of power and arrived at a planet identical to the variations of Earth but primitive within the 15th century era after conducting research of this planet. The Col Earth was in considerable turmoil, the cause of which was two swords: two forces with opposite natures. The conflicting nature of the dissonant forces resonated off of one another and created massive waves of power. But the swords were not their true form—they were beings that best could be described as convergent energy forms.

Darth Vader had not a doubt in his mind that he would be able to wield these forces—Soul Calibur and Soul Edge—as he wished. Once they were in his hands, these two contrasting swords would enable him to rule the Skyriver Galaxy, and take over the Galactic Empire.

Personality[]
Dark Lord of the Sith[]
Upon his conversion to the dark side, Skywalker's arrogant streak became even more prominent, and for a short time, he believed himself to be even more powerful than Palpatine. During his early days as a Sith, Vader believed in justice and would fight to bring it to the Empire at any cost. His impulsiveness and tendency to act in anger were both magnified as well; for instance, when he discovered that Kenobi had stowed away on his wife's ship when she came to Mustafar, he immediately assumed that she was conspiring with his former master and strangled her with the Force. Despite this, Vader did experience a significant level of regret for the decisions that he had made to save Amidala.
However, all that changed following his defeat at Kenobi's hands. Having lost all that he had turned to the dark side to preserve, and having no other path, he fully embraced the dark side and became, in Palpatine's words, a "true Sith." Consequently, he devoted himself fully to furthering the development of his relationship to the Force, and the expansion of his power. Both due to what Palpatine taught him about the relationship between Sith master and apprentice and his own personal tendencies, Vader in his early apprenticeship was completely devoted to the Emperor. However, as his power grew, and particularly after learning of his son's existence and discovery of an alternate version of his deceased wife still alive in another reality, this devotion dwindled considerably.
Over the years Vader developed a new, more hardened and disciplined persona. He became utterly ruthless, virtually devoid of mercy, and was known to occasionally kill his own officers for their failures. Eventually, the identity of Vader in the Empire had arisen tales of a dark armored humanoid who served as the Emperor's most trusted enforcer and was considered to be the most feared individual in the Empire. This had also spread to most members of the Axis who both fear and respect the Dark Lord of the Sith, even to some of the Combine Imperials who underestimated his abilities. Rumors circulated that he lived in a castle in a world of lava and that he wielded a red lightsaber, suggesting a connection to the Sith. The few who had interacted with him stated that they were unsure whether the individual behind the armor was a living person, a droid or a clone trooper. Many feared that if Vader were ever defeated, a number of duplicates would be activated in his place. The Sith Lord also had absolutely no qualms about using torture to accomplish his goals.
Considered to be the Galactic Empire's first terror weapon and noted to employ antiquated diction, he was tenacious and unstoppable, and made most Imperial naval officers uncomfortable. Contrary to the rocky relationships he had with most Imperial officers and members of the Axis, his rapport with his stormtroopers mirrored in many ways his former persona's relationship to the Republic's clone troopers. In fact, his standing with the rank and file was such that it was known as far as Ryloth that the stormtrooper corps "almost worshiped him." Additionally, Vader commanded the absolute loyalty of his servant, Vaneé, who remained stationed at his castle on Mustafar and believed Vader viewed himself as a monster. Part of his reputation was that he would normally be quiet (and thus his presence made for a good implied threat to others) whereas shows of passivity were not. Indeed, it was well known that he usually preferred to oversee operations personally, using action to block out any intruding feelings. He was frequently at odds with those who lacked faith in the Force, finding it "disturbing" or even blasphemous.
Vader although he knew it deep down, did not admit to being evil and believed that his actions were justified. He believed that the Sith were on the right side, while the Jedi to be the real evil, as he told Kenobi during the Duel of Mustafar. He still believed in justice, becoming a devout believer in Imperial propaganda to bring order to the Skyriver galaxy of his universe, being averse to the disorder that existed in the galaxy, even by means joining forces with the Axis as he saw as the need for order in the universes that are chaotic as the Fop'lla Universe, even by means of plotting against the Emperor. He even wanted to make politics come true based on that wish, which he later revealed to Luke and also to Anjyl Skywalker, the daughter of his Filo counterpart.
Vader often used pressurized meditation chambers that allowed him to remain without his helm—the neural connection to his armor—during which he felt the perpetual pain that Kenobi had inflicted on his flesh. During such sessions, he would meditate to use this pain to feed his hate, which in turn fed his strength, and he never laughed. Claiming not to feel regret, and yet haunted by his past, and the screams of his wife, he was determined to never talk about his old life, and detested all that reminded him of his past self (whom he deemed to be weak). He dared not remember such a period of his life, which he hated; indeed, through the use of the dark side, he kept his memories as Anakin Skywalker buried, although it took great effort even after the first twenty years of practice. Although he retained access to Skywalker's memories and experience, this burial was such that he refused to even think of Skywalker as himself, referring to internally to Skywalker's memories as those of "The Jedi." Even so far as to claim his Filo variation as a stranger and believe by defeating him would release him of the pains of his past. However, his rapport with the stormtroopers who supported him, and the technique he displayed in wielding his crimson lightsaber, made Wilhuff Tarkin suspect the truth.
Upon his fateful reunion with Ahsoka Tano, Vader expressed no desire to rekindle the bond he once shared with her, boasting that he had "killed" Anakin Skywalker. Though he claimed he'd spare her if she helped the Empire find the remaining hiding Jedi, he cruelly resolved to kill her when she refused his offer.
Much like before, Vader remained an impatient man, although he tempered his impulses with the faithful obedience he gave to his Sith master, Sidious. He nevertheless remained a pained man, so he would try to hurt himself and others to relieve himself. As sensed by Yoda, Vader's presence in the Force was hard and strong, fiercely pulsing when he sensed him. However, Vader's presence also carried a great, crushing loneliness, which only increased after he killed Obi-Wan Kenobi.
