Dr. Facilier was a voodoo priest back when he was Human back in the Malican War, Facilier grew to resent the rich and prosperous—none so much as the most powerful man in the city, Eli "Big Daddy" La Bouff. Facilier sought to supersede his rival using voodoo and pawns while offering the souls of New Orleans' denizens to his "friends" as recompense. When he failed to achieve his goal and unable to pay dept he was sent to the Underworld by the Voodo spirits.
Eventually, his spirit was freed years later by Xehanort Cheirismos for his knowledge of magic and for paying full debt of his freedom, the Witch Doctor owed a great debt to him and became his loyal subordinate of the Empire of the Heartless. After Emperor Ansem Seeker of Darkness's death (and accompanyly Xehanort's disappearance) and the Heartless Empire barely survived the conflict against Hitt'lon Zizz'lii and the Heartless Empire's forces turning on one another such as Maleficent remain as Empress, he decoded to gain control of some of those who no longer support the Dark Fairy and accept him as their leader. Ultimately by the near end of the Civil War he was ultimately killed.
Biography[]
Facilier was a Witch Doctor who arrived in New Orleans, making deals and business with his 'costumers' and grew to loath the rich and wealthy with envy, such as Eli "Big Daddy" La Bouff. The envious Facilier and his shadow look in disgust, knowing there must be a way to make themselves just as wealthy as Eli. and plotted to use the foreign Prince Naveen Hilaalee-Morosini to marry Eli's daughter, Charlotte La Bouff after eavesdropping on the conversation and devised a plot to use Charlotte and Naveen's union to seize the La Bouff fortune.
Tricking the prince and convinced his overworked valet Lawrence to work for him as an accomplice in a promise of a chance to live the life of a prince. whilst turning the prince into a frog while Lawrence takes his place. Lawrence, meanwhile, becomes Facilier's accomplice and is transformed into an exact copy of Naveen by a talisman. Under the disguise of Naveen, Using Lawrence to marry Charlotte and make him the heir to the La Bouff fortune. Facilier will then murder Big Daddy, thus handing the fortune down to Lawrence by inheritance. Together, the two conspirators would split the money 60-40, with Lawrence getting the smaller sum. With the La Bouff's fortune under Facilier's control, the witch doctor would become the most powerful and wealthy man in the city and take over it. That night, at Charlotte's masquerade ball, a disguised Lawrence meets the wealthy debutante and they immediately hit it off. Unaware at the time his plan would not go as he thought when Naveen managed to escape from the jar Facilier and Lawrence trapped him in and eventually meets Tiana, whom he believes to be a princess to break the spell by asking Tiana to kiss him, which she reluctantly did. As a result of Tiana not being an actual princess, however, she too fell victim to Facilier's frog curse.
Upon learning of Naveen's escape after seeing him and Tiana float away using a few balloons, a furious Facilier then confronted Lawrence on the matter, who at first was having second thoughts about the partaking in a villainous scheme. When Lawrence discarded the talisman telling Facilier to wear it instead as he can't get through with this plan, the panicked Facilier quickly catches it, warning Lawrence that he cannot risk it being destroyed (due to a debt he owe to the Voodoo spirits). Facilier immediately calmed down and persuaded Lawrence to continue going along with the plan, assuring him that all will be well so long as they have Naveen's blood in the voodoo talisman. The next day, however, the blood begins to run out and Lawrence's disguise began to fade, though he was able to propose to Charlotte to marry him and left before his cover was exposed. With no other choice, Facilier was forced to seek help from his "friends on the other side". His "friends" silently ask what they would get out of the bargain while glaring at him. In response, Facilier offered the souls of New Orleans' citizens as payment, declaring that the voodoo spirits will be free to prey upon and consume them once the city is under his command. Enticed by this proposal, Facilier is given a team of shadow demon henchmen to go out, capture Naveen, and bring him back to him alive.
On the night of the wedding, Lawrence remained hidden within the La Bouff's guest quarters alongside Facilier and his shadow. The witch doctor fearfully and frustratingly laments the fact that his life is in danger should the plot fail, losing his patience with both Lawrence and the shadow demons' delays until they returned with Naveen in their possession. Delighted, Facilier captured the prince within his grasps and forcefully held him down as Lawrence steals back the blood and stored it in the talisman to continue the charade for the wedding ceremony. Facilier remained close by to watch as the disguised Lawrence and Charlotte were about to be pronounced husband and wife. With a voodoo doll of Big Daddy at hand, Facilier intended to stab the doll in the heart to kill Big Daddy to complete his plan. Unfortunately, Naveen once again escaped with the help of his firefly friend Ray and took the talisman before throwing it to the firefly. Facilier and the shadows step in to chase after Ray, while Naveen is held captive by Lawrence.

Dr. Facilier, as a spirit in a new body during the Malica Wars
Whilst served as one of the Emperor's loyal subordinates and conducted into scientific and magic research along with other top experts, he researched in soul magic along with enhancing the strength of the Heartless whilst interested in research in other universes with different magics to give advantage with his universe pulled in a major war across many universes known as the Multiverse War. With limited Keyblade Bearers and Jedi of the Ashla Order supporting the United Commonwealths of Worlds.
He learnt about Maleficient wanting to create a new being from her essence, a child as to be her heir rather than natural courses, decided to conduct this experiment and created a dragon egg large enough to contain an infant than to risk accelerating the growth to mold her child. This led to the 'birth' or hatch of the newborn imperial princess Mal Bertha.
Upon being part of project Eclipse, he was visited by Arethusj of discovering the source of material they retrieved by smugglers who stop corrupted genetic flesh from the Fuyti Universe that were once wiped out centuries ago. he heard about the Necromorphs and found Maleficent's plan to be dangerous if these breed of creatures turn on their masters, but nevertheless Dr. Facilier decided to use a countermeasure to prevent it.
Dr. Facilier conducted research on the ancient records of the Malican Empire and reasons why most of the Keybearers were put in stasis on the planet Colomar by a unusual dimensional traveller. Discovered relics of the ancients about a warning when it was fully translated, but on the planet named Soteth, the Heartless on that world acted very strangely and knew something was not right. Sharing this knowledge with the emperor and later discovered the relics were millions of years old and lost historical data of the ancient empire trapping their emperor in a prison, to his shock, they sealed him in Kingdom Hearts itself. Realised if the emperor somehow survived this long, he dreaded to think what the being could do and ordered the fleet under the command of the Warlords to stop the keybearers or even his emperor from opening it.

Personality and Traits[]
In the past when he was a human, Facilier was a scheming bokor, driven mostly by greed and the desire to have authority over others; more specifically, the citizens of New Orleans. Facilier was suave, smooth-talking, polite, and often charming, which gave him an advantage in luring unsuspecting victims into his lair. When it came to sorcery, Facilier was not as powerful as he appeared as his magic was primarily derived from his "friends" as he called them, forced the witch doctor to mostly rely on his power of persuasion to carry out his bidding. This was a weapon perhaps even more dangerous than black magic during his lifetime, as Facilier was able to maintain control over his "friends" by repeatedly manipulating them with charm and temptation. Despite their nearly unlimited power, this made the voodoo demons just as susceptible to Dr. Facilier as his human victims.
Facilier was considered an opportunist and can be quick to formulate plots as he could make plans and use others for his own scheme as he did with Naveen and another occasion during the Heartless Civil War to turn his 'allies' against each other for him to take advantage. While a polite, charismatic showman, Facilier was also cruel, remorseless, and sadistic. He had no qualms with terrorizing innocent civilians as a means to reach his own goals and often relied on manipulation and false promises to achieve said goals. As evidenced by his words to his "friends", while ordering them to capture Naveen: "Bring him to me alive, I need his heart pumpin'... For now.", Facilier was not above killing his victims, once their usefulness has been fulfilled. His murderous state is also shown when Ray the firefly interfering with his plot, as the witch doctor quickly resorted to murder to prevent further interference, and appeared nonchalant about the matter, although it's never shown if Facilier is aware the animals are sapient and Ray was attacking the shadow demons. On a larger scale, Facilier would even use New Orleans' denizens as a bargaining chip, offering their lives in exchange for more power from his "friends".
While generally composed, Facilier has instances of lashing out in anger, particularly when he feels disrespected. Though he managed to pull himself back fairly quickly and refrained from harming him. Likewise, Facilier's equanimity is somewhat of a façade. Though he gives off the impression of being totally in control of every situation, in reality, he lived in constant fear of being unable to repay his debt to his "friends". When the notion of failure comes into play, Facilier becomes vulnerable, desperate, and high-strung. Despite his complete lack of morals and treacherous nature, Facilier frequently sympathizes with the downtrodden or poor. With Lawrence, he made a genuine effort to retain a calm and patient demeanor when commencing with him; he was adamant about having Lawrence willingly work as his accomplice, rather than forcing him into villainy through torture or intimidation. There is also no evidence that Facilier intended to betray Lawrence to keep all the money for himself even if he was getting the (slightly as it 60-40) larger amount of money. He also sympathized with Tiana and her late father, he even offered to make her dream a reality in exchange for his talisman and it nearly worked until she regained her senses. He had shown to care for his adopted daughter Celia and brought her up on his own.
After his revival, Dacilier shown strong loyalty to Xehanort and considered it an eternal gratitude for freeing his soul, he harboured a strong hate for Naveen and Tiana, then also to their family for what they did to him and blamed them for sending him to the spirit world for many years and in a new artificial body to anchor his spirit for centuries, but considered it better than being in the hands of the voodoo spirits.
