Elem is a planet located in the second orbit of the Solari System, this planet located somewhere in the Coral Galaxy from the Malica Universe. The planet was geographically made by a race of four types of sapient Elementals. Elem was discovered by the United Commonwealths of Worlds following the expedition and established contact with the Elementals by 105 AXC (1365 NE) and became the capital of the Elemental Union after becoming a member state of the Commonwealth.

From earlier history, the Elementals evolved on Elem, becoming living and sapient Water, Fire, Earth and Air, taking humanoid forms and spread across the planet, for the time being these elementals had an unsteady relationship between each race, mainly water and fire Elementals as the Water remained by the oceans and the Fire took to the more warmer climates of their worlds, the Air resided above the clouds and remained neutral while the Earth Elementals spread and helped make the land more habitable.
over time, the Elementals slowly developed civilisations an become more 'modern' versions compared to their ancestors that were known as Primordial from the 'dark ages' when Elementals fought each other for territory and survival until the descendants came together into coorporation but began to become more tolerable, especially in one city known as Elemental City, though some discrimination still exist at the time, mainly towards Fire
