Great Multiverse Wiki

The Etheirys System is a system found within the Malica Universe that is a heavily modified system of the Etheirys star, specifically its' habitable zone containing fourteen habitable planets with only one of those fourteen being original to the system, the planet Hydaelyn, with the thirteen other planets being placed there by the long gone ancient Systems Federation which conducted these stellar works approximately 150K.500 BXC (149K.240 BNE) and finished moving the last planet into orbit approximately 150 thousand BXC (148.740 BNE) after five centuries of work.

But it remained much like any other system beyond its' habitable planets, the system still contained a multitude of other original bodies formed with its' star billions of years ago, with four terrestrial planets, three gas giants and two ice giants, with its' parent star, Etheirys, making up the vast majority of the systems' mass and the remaining mass being split between the systems three gas giants.

Formation and evolution[]

History[]

Its' unknown what happened to it during the Collapse of the Systems Federation but it is theorized that the inhabitants of the system purposefully isolated themselves from the fracturing Systems Federation in the immediate aftermath of the First Keyblade War, with its' leaders fearing that such a violent schism within the Keyblade Order would spark a chain reaction in the Systems Federation, a fear that came true as civil war broke out across the Systems Federation due to the destruction and chaos that the short but devastating Keyblade War brought upon much of its' territories. Yet it evidently was not spared of the Collapse's effects as it too fell into civil war centuries later and reduced to a more primitive age but refugees from the millennia long civil war continued to flood the system creating a haphazard arrange of technological development, at least as far as the few surviving mythized records from the Amaurotines seem to indicate.

But in the millennia between that and the start of the Amaurotine civilization was a mystery, with the original Asciens memories of it not entirely reliable as they remembered themselves and their civilization as one of giant godlike humanoids and the fourteen planets being a planet, which they called the Unsundered World. Evidently reality did not reflect this belief once contact with the wider universe was made and discovery of the fourteen planets, including the worlds supposedly rejoined during the calamities caused by the Asciens, put doubts into those theories and beliefs. It is therefore commonly assumed that the ancient Amaurotine civilization made use of advance magical teleportation magics to connect the fourteen planets in such a manner that it appeared to be one whole planet rather then fourteen different planets, with the Amaurotines themselves theorized as being the result of hybridization of various sentient species and extensive modifications done early on in their history while keeping the other unmodified sentient species that would later dominated the planet in some sort of cold storage, as such a more popular theory suggest with little evidence supporting it other then the existence of fourteen seperate planets in the same orbit position and the relics constructed by the Systems Federation to keep them in place.

But since the apocalyptic end of the Amaurotine civilization, the next 12 thousand years civilization, and the various races that now reside on the fourteen planets, rebuilt their civilization, but during that period of time, individuals who contain the memories of some of the fallen Amaurotine came together to create the Ascien Cult which sought to restore the "world" as it used to be through the use of calamities, thirteen of them in total, to not only "rejoin" the "reflections" but also to slowly restore their god Zodiark. By the time they fully destroyed as a organization, seven such "rejoining" occurred but were all stopped due to the actions of the Warriors of Light and their compatriots, although Zodiark's destruction also nearly bought the end of the planet as well as the infamous Endsingers was brought back to its' home system but once again the Warriors of Light stopped them before they could end the system and do the same to the rest of the Malica Universe. While the Warriors collective heroics continued it was often more smaller scaled yet all their sudden and mysterious disappearance, alongside the horrific massacre of the town they were in resulted in many across the system to wonder where they went but in the months since their disappearance contact with the wider universe was made first by the Terran Empire then by the United Galactic Federation, and along with it was the discovery of the thirteen other planets that exist in the same star system and not, as those who knew of them, alternate universe versions of the same planet.

Over the course of the next seventy years, the remaining habitable planets in the Etheirys slowly adopted the technology of the more advanced civilizations of the wider universe, out of a collective concern that not doing so will result in the system being in their system being conquered or indirectly controlled by any number of advance interstellar civilizations, not just the universe's primary superpowers. During this same period of time, the various states of the system also made note of the growing tensions between the aforementioned superpowers and in 51 AXC (1311 NE) they created the Etheirys Alliance in order to better defend themselves in the eventuality of all out war between the UGF and the Terran Empire. And a war did occur in 79 AXC (1339 NE) following the Terran Empire's attempted conquest  of Nova Chrysalia and the UGF's intervention, which quickly spiraled out of control of both superpowers. The Etheirys Alliance managed to remain neutral in the conflict, being able to not get dragged into the conflict by both superpowers, yet they still were affected by the war regardless as the system became flooded by refugees and displaced peoples trying their best to flee the conflict, of which most of the states could not readily handle. But despite the Etheirys Alliance's best attempts at staying out of the conflict, once Maleficent and Ansem SOD's warlords began conquering more and more parts of the universe forced them to become involved in the coalition: the battered and broken Terran Empire and UGF created to try and stop the warlords conquest, barely able to stop them in 85 AXC (1345 NE) but not without the warlords seizing control of half of the universe in the process.

After the signing of the Treaty of Twilight City, the leaders of the Etheirys System realized they could not hope to remain neutral in the new universe, especially not after the creation of the Empire of the Heartless, and become one of the many systems that joined the Federation of Radinio's conference to officially create the United Republics of Worlds and in turn dissolving the Etheirys Alliance and its' various memberstates.
