The Fifteen Shells of the Cruel Lord, more simply referred to as the Fifteen Shells, is the name used to refer to fifteen different prominent forms, vessels and individuals used by the Cruel Lord over his long life span, ranging from his early years as Crown Prince of the Kilominitic Empire to his last persona as High Priest of the Katastrofi Cult, and in essence, the Fifteen Shells are the true leaders of the Katastrofi Cult of whom ensured that the conflict the cult started would be as bloody as possible.
The manner in which these shells were formed was years in the making. For over two centuries, the Cruel Lord, through the use of various sciences and magics, bring into existence various clones of his past lives, particularly those that he had the most success/enjoyment out of, and cloned bodies of his most useful 'tools', which is to say, individuals, he manipulated into his service. These fifteen individuals then went on to become the secret council behind all the actions of the Katastrofi Cult both before and during the War the cult started.
Although their true nature did not become apparent until fifty years before the end of the war, their actions helped to ensure that the Katastrofi Cult Conflict is one of the bloodiest faced by the Multiversial Federation. But there's a darker aspect to them that did not become truly known until ten years before the end of the Katastrofi Cult Conflict, and this dark secret is the true plan for the war, and that would be to bring about a new cycle of destruction that the Hunter once periodically enacted across the Multiverse countless eons ago, forcing the Federation to be far more proactive in their fight against the Cruel Lord and the Cult he now leads.
