The Viau 501st Legion
The 501st Legion, also known as the 501 or 501st Battalion during the Clone Wars and later known as "Vader's Fist" and the Five Hundred and First, was an elite unit of clone troopers commissioned by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine during the Clone Wars that later became a stormtrooper unit. Made up of units like Torrent Company, the 501st fought in many battles, such as the Battle of Tyea and the Battle of Styrinx, becoming one of the most well-known legions in the War History.
The 501st Legion served in all major conflicts even to the Multiverse civil war, there are two major 501st legions the one in the timeline where Order 66 does not happen and the one where the Order 66 did happen.
Combat performance[]
The 501st legion much like many of its clone legions served very well and gained at a good reputation. They mainly used blasters although a few times they have used prototype weapons to modifed weapons from other universes. The 501st legion had also fought a few campaigns with the Ultramarines with both sides noting the other calling their comrades brothers.
Over the course of the multiverse wars the 501st Legion has earned a great renoun and is respected by their allies and their enemies with the Combine emperor stating "its a shame they're not on our side". While respected by the Combine they are still seen as inferior to the race although 501st POWS get better treatment compared to other POWs although in some cases the treatment can be in reverse.
