"...Then kill me, I know my time is up. But know this, I will not die by the orders of some court, no, I will die by my own hands..."

-towards a squad of Allied (Loyalist) soldiers just before he killed himself

Emperor David Mark Young, formally President David Mark Young, simply David Young, was a male human from Inio'zioni Earth where he led a resistance movement called United Earth Federation during the First War against the Irken Hierarchy from becoming the superpower of his home universe after taking over his Earth, due to the the support of the Alliance of Nations, especially the Imperium, replacing the Axis-supported puppet regime and further dismantling the remnants of the ineffective and incompetent governments of pre-invasion Inio'zioni Earth. But to the horror of the majority of the Alliance, Young quickly made it obvious that he intends to rule over the new United Earth Federation as its' dictator, controlling the UEF under a single-party state whoms political party combines Far-Right social policies with Far-Left economic policies.

As a result of revealing his true nature, Young slowly lost support of much of the Alliance, finding only true friends in the form of fellow Far-Right, and occasionally Far-Left, states, like the Imperium of Man, which in his regime's early years being its' only true ally in the ongoing war for control of the Inio'zioni Universe the Alliance was still fighting with the Axis for. And yet, despite being largely ignored by the wider Alliance, Young slowly became a leading figure of the Alliance's Far-Right political factions, one that slowly became more and more influential as more and more Far-Right states are made members of the Alliance, with this early influence eventually evolving into the Imperialist bloc of the Post First War era of the Alliance. Eventually, the Alliance gained an upper hand in the campaign in Inio'zioni through a unexpected way, one that greatly angered Young and his government, the defection of the Irken Hierarchy in 2135 NE. While he and his political bloc made their outrage known to the Allied Council, most of it simply ignored them about the defection and addition of the Irken Hierarchy among their ranks, though itself was a divisive decision even amongst its' more open-minded and democratic memberstates. Regardless of his and his government's opinion on the manner, the campaign in Inio'zioni had ended and the UEF had control over not just the majority of the Inio'zioni Milky Way but also 20 other galaxies as well, greatly expanding their reach and territories considerably.

He managed to survive the chaos that was the Day the Multiverse Burned, alongside his family who largely retreated from New Berlin and Inio'zioni Earth in effective exile for the next three years as Inio'zioni Earth fell under Combine control but eventually Young and his forces retook Inio'zioni Earth from the Combine and restore their rule over the planet once again.

In the immediate years after the First War's conclusion, Young, and numerous other Far-Right Alliance figures, met in New Berlin to formerly create the Alliance of Imperial Powers, a Far-Right political bloc within the newly established Allied Assembly, which the group hoped to use to influence Alliance politics and policies in their favor and political philosophy. In the decades after this, Young and his party began to influence the people of the UEF into accepting monarchism onto of their party's core political beliefs and accept its' inevitability. That "inevitability" occurred in 2406 NE, when the Federated Assembly voted to reorganize itself into the "Grand Terran Empire" and declaring Young, the dictator of the UEF since its' creation, its' emperor, and in turn his family as its' new Imperial Family. All this time, the political tensions between the Right-wing and Far-Right Imperialists, the Left-wing and Far-Left Pact, and the Centre Loyalists grew more and more which threatened to tear the Alliance apart into a civil war. But due to the timely invasion by the Coalition, thus sparking the Chaos Wars, put much of the tension on the backburner as the more pressing issue of the Coalition's unprovoked invasion consumed the Alliance's attention. However, this was not for long as tensions between the three political blocs and their supporters continue to mount.

Eventually the tension gave way, and the Alliance was thrown into a civil war ontop of the ongoing war with the Coalition, one Young had every intention of winning and imposing his ideals on the Known Multiverse, but he underestimated his enemies and their commitment, as well as overestimate his own forces abilities and his allies stability, with his long time ally in the Imperium fracturing into a civil war themselves. All these factors combined turned the tide of the war firmly against him and his Imperialists slowly pushed back to their galaxy and eventually his homeworld. Ultimately, he committed suicide during the Battle for New Berlin in 3142 NE due to a combination of discovering his beloved family's death and his Empire's collapsing state, coming to the conclusion that there was no point in continuing the fight any longer.
