The Second Earthican Civil War, also known as the World War II (after the recent Great War), was a global war which started out in September 1, 1939 (1410 NE) on Pol Earth that was in the opening stages of the First War, though related conflicts began earlier it started out when Adolf Hitler taking political power over Germany and plotted to expand his power across Europe and by extension, the majority of Pol Earth with Japanese Empire joining forces with Nazi Germany to expand their imperial reign, there have been other conflicts prior to the war such as the Second Sino-Japanese War. Unlike it's other counterparts where as the war would have ended, the Empire of the Combine Race came upon their Earth in 1943 (1414 N.E.) to establish contact with Germany, Japan and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, with knowledge of it's historical events during their previous invasions of alternate Earths such as Golmar Earth, their intervention dramatically changed the course of the event by allying themselves with Nazi Germany, establishing the rise of the Greater German Empire. It involved all of the various nation states on Pol Earth—including all of the great powers—eventually the foundation of two greater military factions: the Alliance of Nations and the Axis of Empires. Many participants threw their economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities behind this total war, blurring the distinction between civilian and military resources. Planes made major role in the first few decodes before the rise scientific advancements such as robotic drones, space faring ships, genetic engineering and nukes came into play.
With the Axis' new off-world allies: the Combine, the Galactic Empire and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, it was a first major victory of Europe, Republic of China, and even crippled the navy might of United States of America from both sides with the axis navy fleets and vastly superior technologies when the Earth was briefly invaded by the Gh'elin by the Combine's plot to weaken their defences, resulting in the Invasion of America and the decades of occupation, along with the United Kingdom. With the war no sign of ending and the majority of Pol Earth's nations entering the interstellar age that were part in the war in an attempt to gain control much of the Pol Earth, beyond their star system with encounters of alien races native to their universe and beyond such as the the Krezok failed attempt to invade during the late 1940s/50s, those who the Allies previously fought would eventually joined forces with either the Axis, remained neutral at first or joined the Alliance in fear of the Combine. Despite the situation on Pol Earth, the allied states began to adapt and learn from their allies of new means of military tactics, creating insurgence and rebellion within Axis occupied countries, turning the tide in the Alliance' favour after the liberation of the occupied states of America and the British Campaign as examples of military victories and boost of moral. Civil conflicts took place within the Axis states such as the Russian civil war and factions believing Hitler to be a puppet of the Combine, resulting the divide of Soviet Russia into the Soviet Remnants
By the first century, the war expanded across the stellar arm of Pol Milky Way with the nations now have stellar colonies of their own and fighting one another, even in other universes. While the conflicts seemed to have minimised on their Earth, the nations continued their conflict throughout colonisation and expansion within the region of their home galaxy, between the Allies and the Axis.
It continued onwards for centuries, resulting in much Pol Earth being devastated by the conflict in some way but the major tipping point of the war occurred in another part of the multiverse in Viau when the Axis of Empires built a superweapon in the hopes of ending the war for good, a second Death Star which was destroyed in the battle of Endor, the resulting destruction severely affected affected the Pol Earth Axis states, crippled and open for rebellion across the Japanese and German Empires with the deaths of many of their more effective officers and military leaders and the ones to replace them desperately trying to maintain control over the growing number of worlds and areas revolting to their rule.
In the wake of the Axis's total collapse as well as the infighting amongst all the Axis states including Germany and Japan, they were swiftly occupied, and war crimes tribunals were conducted against the former Axis Russian, German, and Japanese leaders once the war finally came to an end in 3893 (2364 NE) and the United Systems of Earth unified Earth, its interstellar states and colonies.
It was the most widespread war in history and directly involved more than 100 Billion casualties from Pol Earth to the stellar colonies due to genocides (including the Holocaust and Combine attacks), starvation, massacres, disease, and civil wars. And yet the conflict, in a way, did not end as both Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany had numerous remnants emerge continuing to fight even with the defeat of the their nation's governments ontop of numerous warlords that emerged not long after, which only further affected the United Systems to the point of a Crisis erupting on Pol Earth 38 years after the war in 3931 (2402 NE).
Prelude[]
Although most of Pol Earth's history appears similar to modern history with Nazi Germany led by Adolf Hitler leading the invasion across Europe, plunging a second World War against the Allied powers (led by the United Kingdom, USSR and the United States of America) with Imperial Japan and Italy joining forces with Nazi Germany. This also affected many conflicts such as the Italian invasion of Ethiopia and Albania, the Spanish Civil War, the Japanese invasion of China and their attacks on the Soviet Union.
Although the Axis gained control over the majority of their version of Europe, the Allies of Pol Earth were close to victory, until the year 1943 (1414 NE) when the trans dimensional empire, the Combine entered the Pol Universe. Using the knowledge of the events that would happen from the previous Earths they conquered, the Combine would make plans to drastically changed the events of the war on Pol Earth by gaining the trust of the Axis states.

First Contact[]
The Combine became aware of this version of Earth, only much more primitive and centuries behind compared to it's Golmar Variant in both technology and culture. The Advisors during the occupation were familiar with the early 20th century through historical research and suggest sending against posing as Humans to get close to the political leaders such as Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Benito Mussolini.

Evacuation[]
With borders between nations that have sided with the Alliance and the Axis, the allied governments fear the war would grow worse despite the agreements of temporary ceasefires to recover their wounds, families within areas likely to be targeted for aerial and orbital attacks were forced to evacuate and for children without homes for their safeties. The main ideal places chosen were, Naboo, Coruscant, Alderaan, Duyi'zu Earth, Golmar Earth and Ruui’iio Earths using the constructed gates introduced by Golmar Earth’s scientists called the Kleiner-Freeman-Vance Drive Systems.
Alliance Support[]
In 1944 (1415 NE), the Alliance needed to build up the moral of the Pol Earth’s inhabitants by targeting several countries to aide, the first were the occupied France, sending out Clone Troopers and the Osean Federation offering military support. Surprising the Nazi Germans how they have not yet accustomed to more advance ships, the Kingdom of Italy eventually pulled out and Italy's military outside of the Italian peninsula collapsed, its occupied and annexed territories falling under German control. Italy capitulated to the Allies on 3 September after the arrest of Mussolini, yet still some remain supportive to the Axis in belief to ‘liberate’ Italy from Alliance rule.
The battle for Austria occurred in 1945 (1416 NE) weeks later to start up an uprising, along with Romania, Hungary and such as the Slovak Republic
Invasion of America[]

In May 18th, 1946 (1417 NE), The Combine with their knowledge of the Golmar Earth's history took advantage against the Allied America, plotting an invasion with Japan and Germany to attack the United States from both sides with their Combine starships. Feldmarshall Franz-Gustav Beyers was chosen to lead the combined forces and succeeded in winning the Battle of Leyte Gulf in the Pacific Ocean.
The combined forces of the Axis severely crippled half of the US's military forces and the loss of their naval forces despite the support of the Alliance with the Combine, the Galactic Empire and the Confederacy keeping their stellar fleets occupied and their fleets stretched thin..
American Campaign[]
The US forces against the Empire
With the support of the Alliance, the rebels took the Earth Axis states by surprise to start up the uprising, the newly upgraded military support by the Human-Vortigaunt Federation with their experience of combat against the Combine during the Golmar Uprising by several decades ahead. Through the years of various training, they had gained a fighting chance after taking down some of the Imperial Walkers in the southern states. Upgraded tanks with modernised technologies form other Earths were limited but enough to stand a chance against the Synths and the Galactic Imperial Walker, the Galactic Republic and the Jedi thst were available offered the resistance in Axis occupied areas in the States.
Interstellar Warfare[]
Throughout the first century of the war as it has been dragged, several German officers saw Hitler and his inner circle as fools and plotted to assasinate them and hope to end the conflict before the Alliance would finish them off. However, they did not anticipated the Axis agents warning Hitler of this plot upon learning of the rebel factions and realised they be surrounded by all sides of attack, decided to use the latest starships to prepare the build a fleet, In 1951 (1422 NE), Germans Hans Amstark and Otto Emmerich became the first individuals from Pol Earth to reach the moon where it was then designated by the Combine as "Pol Luna". Touching down on a place known as the Glimmer Bowl, setting up the foundations of the first Nazi Lunar Base for the Greater German Empire.
Expanding to several planets beyond the solar system by 1509 NE before the Allies invade them, along with the Japanese Empire to set their sight on nearby worlds to colonise, the Greater German Empire couldn't risk invading a parallel Earth to take over with being in the temporary defence as the Earth Allied members now have interstellar ships to strike from orbit, Hitler refused to accept this but vowed to return to Pol Earth one day when the Axis were ready to retake their homeland while loyal factions were left behind to guard their remaining territories in Europe.
Colonisation of Pol Venus[]
Pol Venus was next to be colonised by the Axis after reaching the moon. The originally believed Venus be a beautiful planet according to Earth folklore, but discovered to be a hostile with acidic atmosphere. Forced to build bases above the clouds until installed with atmospheric shields. The upper part of the base is modelled like a city far up in the atmosphere where Adolf Hitler himself would make residence and for his guests for a resort

Gh'ellin Assault[]
Allied Forces fighting off an alien invasion
Despite the Axis' combined efforts to take control of Pol Earth, the Combine devised a plan to throw the Alliance off guard when they made contact with a nomadic race that had temporally taken Pol Mars as their base, the Advisers came into contact with a species known as the Gh'elin, previously dubbed by the Humans as 'Martians' to launch an attack on Pol Earth, the invaders targeted certain cities and countries they agreed to attack on the Alliance territories, almost succeeded but foiled by the combined might of the Galactic Republic and the HVF's firepower, but discovered their immune systems could not cope with the planet's bacteria and atmosphere, killing off the Gh'ellin on the surface easily.
Despite the set backs, this proved in favour of the Combine to distract the Alliance for their Earth allies to recover from the current losses, no longer needing the Gh'ellin as they were made as cannon fodder, resulting in ending the brief alliance.

In need of annexing the planet from the Confederacy's control before they could call for reinforcements, the Alliance used the KFV Drive to transport their forces to the planet's coordinates on the surface without orbital landing to reveal their position. Transporting three separate unites through the portal from their base.

with the British growing up under decades of imperial occupation grew tired and began rebelling against both Imperials and Nazis when it came to an end in July 14th 2003 (1473 NE), resulting in the very first significant victory for the Allies in the Second Earthican Civil War.
A joint British-American operation against the Axis Occupation in the United Kingdom. The campaign began on July 11th 1998 (1468 NE) when the United States of America and the Dominion of Canada rebuild their forces after the liberation of America, the US offered support with the Alliance gaining more and more members from other worlds to lead the assault, opening portals for a surprise assault on the German and Imperial forces from the sea and air. Stirring up an uprising within the British Isles against the Germans and Imperials, keeping the Axis forces occupied in the European conflicts and temporally cutting the German Empire's route back to their home reality, limiting their military resources for the advantage.
Space Age[]

In the decades since the Americas, most of the Oceanic and the British Isles was liberated by Allied forces, the few remaining Pol Earth Allied states, like the United States, Canada, Ireland and the United Kingdom began to focus on offworld colonizations, both as a means of acquiring more resources for the war effort, as by that point in time the war was a virtual stalemate with only the sea battles being any sign of continuous engagement between Alliance and Axis forces as well as mutual bombings of the British Isles and Nazi controlled mainland Europe and the ongoing Second Russian Civil War in the Soviet Union, but also to ensure the survival of their governments in the event the war on Earth turned against them. While they did have plenty of resources on hand for their efforts, wider Alliance aid also helped them create their first colony ships and began to expand towards Pol's Tau Ceti as Pol Humanity's first extra-solar colony all the while beginning a military campaign against the Axis across the Sol system beginning with Pol Mars in 2010 (1481 NE).

With the former Axis states now defenceless and no support of the major powers, the three empires on Pol Earth were cut off from their main fleets and colonies to send support and open for Alliance invasion. Germany was one the first to be attacked, right in the invasion of the Axis capitals in 2887 Pol (2358 NE).

Impact[]
- Despite the age, weapons that saw service during the First Earthican civil war still saw use in the Civil War (ex. Lee Enfield Mark III, Carcano M1891, Gewehr 98, Steyr Mannlicher M1895, etc.)
- While the Allies at first didn't stand a chance, they did start pushing the Combine back even able to produce jet fighters and more advanced planes well earlier than in the original ww2 timeline with the YB-41 a super heavy bomber first made sometime in 1942-1944 although these documantations have been lost.
- Cultural changes had rapidly changed, mainly towards the Western countries from the 1940s era to 21st Century Earths such as racial and gender discriminations were less tolerant to the Allies at first during the first several decades of the war, slowly coming to adapt to the changes but still some existed during the first century which led to some real life events affected.
