Preston Garvey is the leader, and later second-in-command of the Commonwealth Minutemen and heads a group of people living in The Commonwealth who later on became one of the many groups fighting against the Combine's occupation of their world. He become one of the Fullers many companions during their journeys against the Multiverse. After his involvement in the Fialer Crisis in Venom Snake's Insurrection, Garvey joined the Task Force 141 as liaison officer
