Planet Glurk, or simply Glurk, is the homeworld of the Glurkian race and a wasteland province of the Confederacy of Independent Systems used as salvage ground for recycling purposes. Ruined vehicles, ships, and metals are sent there to be melted so that new metals can be made to replace them with newer models. Formely part of the Edanian Empire, it was later abandoned due to uncontrollablw climate change that eventually killed most life on the planet, with the exception of the Glurkians themselves and those of small animals (rodents, insects, and spiders). Despite its polluted atmosphere, it still has breathable oxygen for all life, but such a possibility on the planet remains a mysterous to all.
