The Free Galactic Republic, also known as the Allied Galactic Republic, was the government created by members of the Xilo Galactic Republic who saw it as a 'puppet state' of the Axis of Empires and fight the Xilo Galactic Republic during the Xilo Galactic Civil War. It had half of the Republic (including Coruscant, the capital) jojned the Free Republic, it joined the Alliance of Nations because they had no other choice.
