The planet Gormelar Prime is the homeworld of the ape-like Semerians and their official government, the Semerian Commonwealth. Originally a province of the ancient Edanian Empire, it later fell into disarray and the few remaining humans trapped on the planet were soon enslaved and regressed into primitive savages.
