Great Slave Rebellion

Human slaves arising against their Semerian oppressors.

The Great Slave Rebellion was a two-year long conflict between rebellious Humans and the Semerians who enslaved them after the end of the Great Ape Wars. Starting with the fall of Aechromondar, the rebellion covered a third of the planet Gormelar Prime, crippling more of its already exhausted economy. Eventually, however, the Semerian High Council declared marshal law upon Human-occupied areas by sending huge waves of troops, which finally ended the rebellion for good. As time passes by, the Semerian Commonwealth would use this event in order to justify their racism and extreme nationalism.
