The Guoo'tuji Universe is a universe of which the majority of Humanity was presumably extinct and most of the galaxy was inhabited by artificial and genetically engineered species, some survivors were present 3 million years such as Dave Lister and Kristine Kochanski. The universe was first became known in 1950 N.E. when the crew of the Red Dwarf uncovered an ancient derelict ship with a multidimensional drive to travel to other realities.
History[]
Humans began their interstellar travel in the year 2080, it was considered economically and philosophically interesting. Stasis booths were also invented around this time for long distance travel.
An interstellar organisation known as the Space Corps was founded on the core of space travel, colonising and terraforming planets they settled. Although they have explored their galaxy and found no sign of intelligent life and began creating genetically engineered and artificial lifeforms to fill the galaxy.
At some point in its history, humanity has either vanished or gone extinct but. a handful remained.
Alternate Timelines[]
The crew of Starbug used a Time Drive to travel back to their Earth, but a miscalculation caused them to land arrive in November 22, 1963, on the fifth floor of the Texas Book Depository in the and accidentally hit Lee Harvey Oswald out of the window before firing the third shot, causing John F. Kennedy to survive the assassination attempt. The crew rearrive back here a few minutes earlier redirecting Oswald to the sixth floor to try to alter the time line back to normal. Oswald fires all three shots, but due to the line of sight Kennedy still lives. The crew arrive back here for a third time bringing the future John F. Kennedy with them. Kennedy stands behind the grassy knoll and assassinates himself, thus correcting the time line.
John F. Kennedy is impeached for sharing a mistress with a Mafia boss the next year.
In July 1965, John F. Kennedy is being taken from Idlewild Airport to an open prison to serve his three year sentence.
In 1966, J. Edgar Hoover became president, however he forced to run by the mob, who had pictures of him at a transvestite orgy. The USSR is allowed to install nuclear bases at Cuba in return for Mafia cocaine trafficking between Cuba and the states. The base is so close to the US, people flee from all the major cities.
The Red Dwarf crew goes back to Idlewild Airport when Kennedy was being taken to prison and convinced Kennedy to travel back to 1963, and stand behind the grassy knoll, and assassinate himself. Kennedy agrees and the time line is corrected.
