The High Elves (Second Human Empire: Hamo Xiiti'oippi Fuyyiki'reni) are one of the known elf races found in Norrath (Mink'ius), Arborea (Wuti'ghu), The Old World (Vop'lla) and Azeroth (Tiu'lo). All three high elf types joined the Alliance of Nations to form the Allied High Elven Joint Defense Forces

Mink'ius High Elves, or Koada'Dal, are the fair-skinned children of Tunare, Goddess of Growth. Tall and slender, high elves embody elegance and culture, having long made their home within the pristine stone walls of Felwithe. The Koada'Dal appreciate art and design, surrounding themselves with examples of their artistic and intellectual superiority. Above all else, high elves are an orderly and disciplined people. Though benevolent in nature, they look down on other races as being less pure than themselves. The Mink'ius High Elves are lesser known High Elf types in the Allied racial roster

Finubar the Seafarer, a most well-known High Elf found in the Old World

The Vop'lla High Elves, or Asur in Eltharin, are tall, fair and slender in comparison to humans. They are almost physically flawless and rarely succumb to disease or mutation and can live for hundreds even thousands of years. They are usually seen as being arrogant, aloof, and overly concerned with beauty and art, a reputation which is not completely unfounded for in return they generally view themselves as being superior to other races. They hold an ancient enmity towards the Dwarves, ever since the disastrous War of the Beard when the two races fought a bloody war against each other that lasted for centuries. They have fought against the spread of Chaos since it first appeared in the world, but their bitterest stuggle is against their own kin, the Dark Elves. The Warhammer Fantasy High Elves are less known type of High Elves in the Allied Species Roster

The Azeroth High Elves are the most common of all High Elven types in the Allied Army

The high elves in Azeroth, or quel'dorei ("children of noble birth" in Darnassian and "high elves" in Thalassian), are a race descended from the Highborne night elves who left Kalimdor and settled in the Eastern Kingdoms, founding the Republic Federation of Quel'Thalas. The high elves as a whole enjoyed relative seclusion from the younger races for several millennia. The high elves' allegiance to the latter proved short-lived, however, as the high elven king Anasterian Sunstrider quickly grew apathetic to the plight of his allies, and officially seceded the nation. The Azeroth High Elves are the most common type of High Elves in the Allied Species Roster.

The Arborean High Elves are not common as the ones from Azeroth.

The high elves of Allemantheia are noble yet cunning, known for their arrogance, yet great knowledge. They were the pinnacle of civilization before the War of the Gods. However after the war their source of power, the Stone of Eternity was destroyed, causing massive destruction and deaths. The Arborean High Elves are less common type of High Elves.
