"Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship because while you're there, you can make a difference."
– James T. Kirk
James Tiberius Kirk, also known as Jim Kirk or, most commonly, Jim, a human from the Duyi'zu Universe was arguably the most famous and highly-decorated starship captain in the history of the Multiverse. He commanded the Constitution-class starships USS Enterprise, USS Enterprise-A and the Excelsior class Refit USS Enterprise-B serving Starfleet's interests as an explorer, soldier, time-traveler, starship commander, and diplomat. James Tiberius ("Jim") Kirk was a Human descendant of European settlers on Duyi'zu Earth's American continent, who pioneered the western frontiers of the United States of America in the 19th century. He was born on March 22nd, 1380 N.E. (2233 Duyi'zu), in Iowa on Duyi'zu Earth, the son of George and Winona Kirk. Kirk's historic role as an explorer was rivaled by his reputation for tactical genius. In several notable engagements, Kirk used the USS Enterprise effectively as a weapon of war.
He played a major role in the War in the Beta Quadrant in the event of the Combine Invasion in 1414 NE prior to the events of his universe being dragged in the First Multiverse War.
Following his centuries of career in Starfleet and the Multiverse Federation, he became the 55th President of the Federation

Maiden Voyage[]
At the moment of peace in the Alpha Quadrant, Kirk joined his friends Montgomery Scott and Pavel Chekov as the honored guests of Captain John Harriman on the maiden voyage of the Excelsior-class starship USS Enterprise-B. The event, featuring a media frenzy surrounding Kirk, was little more than a ceremonial cruise, as the Enterprise-B was not yet fully crewed or equipped for regular duty. Soon after departure, the ship received a distress signal from two Whorfin-class ships transporting El Aurian refugees, trapped in an energy distortion called the Nexus.
With the advice of Kirk, and the help of Scott and Chekov, the rescue mission was a partial success, but the Enterprise-B succumbed to the Nexus' gravimetric field. Declining Harriman's offer to take command, Kirk volunteered to modify the ship's deflector relays and successfully enabled the ship's escape, but not before a burst of energy from the Nexus breached the secondary hull. Kirk was lost and presumed dead.
Despite witnessing the loss of Kirk, following the rescue of Montgomery Scott from the crash landed USS Jenolen in 1546 (2369 Duyi'zu), by the USS Enterprise, to Scott's surprise that he was found by the Enterprise, Scott's immediate response was, "The Enterprise! I should have known! I bet Jim Kirk himself hauled the old girl out of mothballs to come looking for me."
In memory for his service, the Federation and the Alliance for his role, however in truth, he was in fact alive and in a alternate plane of existence, he was persuaded by Captain Jean-Luc Picard from the year 1524 NE (2371) to return to Veridian III in the "real" universe and stop Tolian Soran from sacrificing 230 million lives in order for him to re-enter the Nexus. During the final battle, Kirk was able to retrieve and activate a cloaking control device from a damaged construction span, enabling Picard to sabotage Soran's plans. However, the span collapsed, causing Kirk to fall but surprisingly able to survive but broken a few bones as he responded by saying something like this seemed to have happened, only to had died. He thanked Picard for bringing him back home and ready to see the galaxy again.
His return startled the majority of Starfleet who presumed he was dead for decades, finding the galaxy had changed and the Federation much bigger and while the Beta Quadrant conflict had come to an end, but the war outside his universe continues and decides t return to Starfleet from his 'retirement' and reunite with his friends.
Great Battle of Endor[]
Kirk was assigned by Starfleet to join forces with the Klingon and Romulan forces to plan invasion of the Endor System located in the Viau Skydiver galaxy to destroy the Axis' newest weapon, the Second Death Star with the combined resources of many Axis members that have been building this battle station with the Galactic Empire for almost the entire war. Realising how powerful this weapon would be far greater than the original when he had remembered how the first one the Empire built destroyed an entire planet, fearing how much firepower the latest version will have against the Alliance. Taking his forces to one of the planet's moons they found no traces of the battle station anywhere, but taking advice from Scotty and Data of why there are shield generators all over the system and nothing to protect, then he realised that their actually hiding something and discovered a cloaking device that is protecting a dimensional gate, he asked them to find a way to hack into their data system.
Successfully gain access to their dimensional gate to send the fighters through to find the Death Star II in a different location, and with one of the imperial bases on the Forest Moon destroyed by the Republic, he gave the order to the allied forces to converge on the attack through the gate.

Presidency[]
Coming out of retirement from the military, Kirk decided to represent himself for the running 6175 Election for the presidency of the Multiverse Federation for the Constitutionalist Party, gaining popular votes for being a veteran and long history of servitude against his opponents, Kirk was declared the winner with his long time friend Spock as his vice-President, explaining the reason for this was he needed some of that ancient wisdom and logic from an old friend.
