The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25 (Russian: Микоян и Гуревич МиГ-25) (Allied reporting name: Foxbat) is a supersonic interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft that was among the fastest military aircraft to enter service. It was designed by the Soviet Union's Mikoyan-Gurevich bureau in Dol Universe. The first prototype flew in 1964 (N.E 1294), and the aircraft entered into service in 1970 (N.E 1300). It has a top speed of Mach 2.83 (as high as Mach 3.2, but at risk of significant damage to the engines), and features a powerful radar and four air-to-air missiles. The Axis of Empires used the MiG-25RB recon-bomber variant for recon and strike purposes, while the Coalition of Independent States and other independent factions used the MiG-25PDS interceptor variant alongside the MiG-25RB recon-bomber variant including MiG-25BM SEAD Variant.
