The Mithra are a female-dominant species of cat-like humanoids native to the Malica universe. Owning to their sexual dimorphism, the species is dominated by females more than the males who often lived the lives of hunters who worked alongside the Tarutaru on their shared homeworld. Noted for their ears, which gives them an excellent hearing, and their long tails, which gives them an above-average sense of balance. The species is now apart of the United Commonwealths of Worlds.
Due to their sexual dimorphism resulting in more females than males, its' not uncommon to hear or see a Mithra male having multiple wives, as the need to ensure their species survival has resulted in polygyny being the norm throughout the species, a manner of which similar to the Cerean of the Filo or Viau universe.
