"I must say this place is the worst nightmare for every non-sea man... At least in Tellus there's the comfort of kitchens and sleeping bunks, but being exposed this much is not my turf."
Jack Sparrow

Papatūānuku, also known as Lalolagi III, is a planet in the Lalolagi System of the Malica Universe. One of the many countless artificial Earth inspired planets created by the ancient and long since fallen civilization the Systems Federation, the planet's surface differs from the others in it’s extremely small land surface area, where more of the land is submerged, save for a handful of islands. This is attributed to the planet being repeated struck by ice meteors early in its formation, which rose the sea levels.

Humans on the planet live in small islandic tribes from a variety of culture, which use primitive catamaran sail ships for transport across the vast oceans. The planet is governed by a group of gods and demigods, which shape the world and Human civilization with their actions.

Most notably, the goddess Tefiti gave life to the islands, which the demigod Maui would pull from the sea. However, more vengeful gods such as Nalo sought to destroy Human society, along with the other native races to the world such as the Kakamora. The ocean itself was a living god on the planet, and affected the water flow of the islands.

The planet, surprisingly, is also hollow, and the underworld is infested with magic monsters and other creatures, some of which occasionally escape to the surface to wreak havoc. The gods had the most power in the underworld and depths of the ocean, even manipulating beasts to attain their goals.
