The Railroad is one of main and ancients methods of transportation inside the multiverse's universes.
It consists of transferring passengers and goods on wheeled vehicles running on rails, which are located on tracks. Tracks usually consist of steel rails, installed on sleepers set in ballast, on which the rolling stock, usually fitted with metal wheels, moves. Other variations are also possible, such as "slab track", in which the rails are fastened to a concrete foundation resting on a prepared subsurface.
Railroads are easy to build and were used for long transportation of goods and military equipment and have also been in civilian use. However, the railroad has allowed super heavy railway guns being used though their overall use for the military railway guns is limited by the track. The rails themselves can be different with some being electric while others are more basic for trains that use coal.
