The Rau'gennai Universe is part of a sub-multiverse of many, where in this universe was filled with long eons of conflicts and wars between a demonic spirit-entity known as Dark Spector manifested in this universe, waged chaos and fear across countless worlds and galaxies to gain control of much of the universe, expanding its power until the Dark Spector's forces were confronted by a race who valued justice and freedom known as the Eltarians, they brought many into an alliance to stand against the dark forces and created gaurdians that would be known as the Power Rangers after discovering a powerful energy known as the Morphin Grid.
Dark Spector retreated after he was sealed away, leaving his followers and those formerly under his control to fight among themvelves for territories and empires with their armies of monsters created from the war for the last 10,000 years, along with those such as Rita Repulsa imprisoned in a capsule on Rau'gennai Earth's moon while under constant observation by one of the Eltarian Protectors, Zordon after giving his life in the war. After her freedom by accident, Rau'gennai Earth became a target for invasions and attacks.
After this universe was discovered, the rangers became associated with the multiversial heros Associations with other heroes.
History[]
Distant Past[]
The Morphin Masters
At some point in its history when the Rau'gennai was created, members of an ancient civilization known as the Morphin Masters, or the First Ones devoted themselves to study the Morphin Grid's singular nature, its existence across all universes as a multiversal constant. The Protector, along with The Preserver, The Liberator, andThe Diplomat recalled having to observed this event in this reality among others when the First Ones created a trio of Emissaries from the light of a star to act as their representatives to mortals: Red, Blue and Yellow. served a mentor for them to while as messengers of peace and tranquility and existed within the dimension known as the Morphin Grid when it opened in the various universes such as the Rau'gennai Universe. They would later be responsible for the creation of various Ranger teams throughout time and space.
Approximately in the year 150 million BCE, the Quantasaurus Rex and its Quantum Controller arrive from the 30th century after an experiment with time travel went wrong and remain dormant in the Jurassic Era until the arrival of Wes Collins, Eric Myers, and the Commandocon who take the Zord the back to the Rau'gennai year 2001.
A tear in a reality opened up and came into it were a fleet of ancient human refugees stranded from their destroyed home, members of the Morphin Masters helped them settle on several worlds in the Galaxy A47, of which would later be called the Milky Way in the present. Founding a civilization and discovered the ancient Earth in the Sol System, of which was designated as Planet 0117, or Tellus to some.
A species called the Eltarians rose as a galactic civilization, equipped with advanced technology and have spent centuries in efforts of defending the peace of the Milky Way galaxy for centuries.

Dark Spector's presence in the Rau'gennai Universe
The era of peace slowly began to decline with rising conflicts and wars spreading across the cosmos. Chendil, one of the Morphin Masters in the Frontier Lab, alongsid The Morphinaut use the Proto-Arch to ascend into the Morphin Grid as a physical space. The Morphinaut stepped through the dimensional gate and unwittingly came face-to-face with a dark entity lurking around the grid, and decides to shut down the Proto-Arch with him still inside the Grid for a century. Despite their efforts to seal it away, the dark spirit managed to slip through the gate and began its goals of corruption and total rule of this universe, many fell under its influence such as Eldin using the Morphin Masters' artifacts to peer into time, Dark Spector corrupted him into Master Vile and gave him the task of preparing a vessel for him to manifest in the world.
War for the Universe[]
The Dark Spector began gathering vast number of warlords, followers for promise of power in service of him being their leader, giving many powers of their own and corrupting them into monstrous creatures after accepting his offer and became enslaved by the evil energy.
An army of machines rose up against their creators, led by Mondo as the Machine King of the newly established Machine Empire, spreading across planets for their resources in believe machines are superior.
Zaphram, an Eltarian and former member of the Gaurdians of Eltar failed to obtain the Zero crystal, deforming into an undead-like mutation by its overwhelming power took the name Lord Zedd to begin his conquest of the cosmos and denied joining Dark Spector's side. The ancient humans tried to fight back but were utterly crushed, the cities on Earth were decimated and their civilization scattered to a few planets.
Zordon found a solution using the Morphin Grid that was rediscovered to create a group of protectors with the power to stop the evil forces, using the technology and set a base on Earth to protect the remaining humans, creating machines with the Morphin Grid as Zords, successfully pushing Dark Spector back into a realm, forcing many of his followers into furthest parts of the universe, they would fight amongst themselves for power and those imprisoned as well such as Rita Repulsa, Master Vile's step-daughter on the moon. Zordon's physically body was gone, but his mind and soul remained in a hidden base, knowing one day he will guide a new generation of guardians when evil returns to the galaxy.

Notable Differences[]
- The history of this universe differs from its media version were as the explanation of humans or human-like races on other worlds, including one such as the majority of the universe has been in a state of conflict for thousands of years.
- Dark Spector in this reality is much different and played a part as being an outside entity.
- Dark Spector's death would be different, unlike the show, he would be destroyed completely by Zordan's 'death' and the majority of his forces.
- The organizations on Earth would take a more active role in both scientific and military units against invasions than solely rely on the Power Rangers, they would discover Eltarian technologies left by Zordon to better defend themselves after the war when left by those trusted from others and against kanji-class beasts and machines after his sacrifice. Some from old cultures before the 20th century would learn to use them such as against the Orc. Developing the technologies with other allied worlds to build a fleet of ships and Zords to defend their worlds from the Eltarians.
- In the Rau'gennai Universe, the "Alliance of Evil" would be referred to as the Dark Horde Alliance.
- The Power Rangers' uniforms would be made of nanofibers and given special commands and not give actions poses, rather than being spandex.
- Many of the villains, monsters, aliens and robots with unique appearance and powers would have these given to them by the previous generals who served Dark Spector of the corrupted version of the Morphin grid.
- The Alliance has classified the creatures and individuals with powers as Enhanced for their unique appearances as a result of genetic mutations or exposed to the corrupt versions of the Morphin Grid created by Dark Specter.
- Dark Specter's appearance in the Rau'gennai greatly differs as more of a spectral form.
Trivia[]
- This universe is the main setting of Power Rangers, Kamen Riders with some major differences such as being not much like from the canon show media, but with elements of both the remake movie and the Boom! comics added. The history would differ and characters' personalities be slightly differ from the media that towards children program
- The RPM (Sanzi'gennai) and Dino Charge (Daru'gennai) series are set in their own universes
- Entities familiar of this universe or other realities were familiar with them, namely the Protector and the Fallen, both manifestations of heroes and villains.
- Most elements from the comics would have crossovers with other realities base don the BOOM! comics such as DC comics, Godzilla, Usagi Yojimbo, TMNT,
- The theme of this universe is possibly inspired by the Voltron: Legendary Defenders as a retelling of the story with some elements.
