Skyriver Galaxy

The Skyriver Galaxy is a celestial galaxy, composed of some four hundred billion stars in a disk 120,000 light-years in diameter, the galaxy was orbited by seven smaller satellite galaxies, of which five were directly accessible by the time of the Galactic Empire. The galaxy was home to between five and twenty million sentient species, and over one hundred quadrillion sentient beings lived in one billion star systems, interacting with each other through travel, diplomacy, trade, politics, and war. Many versions of the Skyriver were home to many galactic powers such as the Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire, New Republic, Fel Empire, Sith Empire, Confederacy of Independent Systems, Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. among others, and were home to the Force-sensitive sects such as the Jedi Order and Sith and numerous cultural groups such as the Mandalorians.

Extragalactic Interactions

Prior to the Multiverse Wars, extra-galactic travel was difficult due to a circumferential hyperspace barrier that prevented hyperspace routes very far outside the disk, and beyond this, the barren vastness of the Intergalactic Void. However, by the time of the First Multiverse War contact had been established with the two small galaxies orbiting the galaxy: the Rishi Maze, also known as Companion Aurek, and Firefist, also known as Companion Besh. The InterGalactic Banking Clan had influence as far as these locations.

The Extragalactic Society was an organization devoted to the search for life outside the galaxy.

Alternate Versions of the Skyriver Galaxy

Kilo (168 ABY Legacy)

The Kilo Skyriver Galaxy was originally controlled by the Fel Empire, the successor state of the Galactic Empire after the Second Galactic Civil War with the Galactic Alliance in the Kilo Universe, until it at the time it was overthrown by the New Sith Empire under leadership of Darth Krayt.
