A starship, also known as a starcruiser, spaceship, spacecraft, or simply just craft or ship, are a space fairing vessel capable of Interstellar travel usually equipped with some form of FTL technology to reach greater distances. Starships were distinguished by the inclusion of FTL-drives such as hyperdrive, Warp drive, or quantum slipstream, equipments that made hyperspace travel possible. though some more primitive Starships used stasis pods or other types of suspended animation technology for long sub light speed, drastically reducing the journey times between two solar systems.
But after the emergence of multi-dimensional drives such as the Kleiner-Freeman-Vance Drive Systems, starships that are designed for such can travel to greater distances to other galaxies and other dimensions. Starships that lacked the propulsion drives had used stasis pods or other types of suspended animation technology for long sub light speed journeys.
