Balance Between Good and Evil: According to a vision received by several Jedi, it's his destiny to become the immortal "One", representing the Light Side in the Skriver galaxy, fighting a Forever War with Vestara, who would eternally represent The Dark Side. He pulls of a Screw Destiny instead, even convincing Vestara not to drink from the Fountain of Power and defeating Abeloth without it.
Berserk Button: Insulting his parents will anger him greatly.
Black Cloak: He wears black a lot though thankfully, Dark Is Not Evil.
Chick Magnet: Certainly takes after his father for being attractive to several women and been in some relationships.

Ben: I say yes, and close my eyes and pucker up for a big kiss.
Luke: There, that's the Skywalker survival instinct at work.
Dark Is Not Evil: Just like his father, he wears with an all-black costume.
Dating Catwoman: With Vestara,w which didn't last long.
Dead Guy Junior: He was named after Obi-Wan Kenobi, whom Luke knew as Ben.
Deadpan Snarker: Most of his conversations with his father and/or Vestara involve snark.
Fiery Redhead: He got it from his mother.
Genius Bruiser: He's both a Jedi Knight and highly intelligent.
Heroic Lineage:
Holy Hand Grenade: Uses an attack described like this, to punch a hole in Abeloth, in Apocalypse.
Laser Blade: Used a blue-bladed lightsaber.
Improbable Aiming Skills: The GAG Lieutenant Jori Lekauf instructed him on sniping with a modified Karpaki Fifty ballistic sniper rifle. In only a few hours Lekauf was able to make Skywalker into an efficient and deadly sniper.
Professional Killer: For one book, anyway; he has the skill, but not the temperament.
Runs in the Family:
Screw Destiny: He has torn down at least one prophecy about his future. Only time will tell.
Strong Family Resemblance: Nearly all of his mannerisms and physical traits are inherited from his mother Mara. Also, various illustrations had him look much like his father, particularly during Legacy of the Force.
Super Mode: He does this just long enough to launch a Kamehame Hadoken that is explicitly stated to be capable of destroying a capital ship. Except unlike what Jacen did, this form isn't described as 'impossible to achieve again'.
Teen Genius: He was the youngest knight in the Order at fourteen...something not even his talented dead cousin could achieve.
