The Clone Wars also known as the Great Clone Wars, but often referred to as the Republic-Confederacy War by other civilizations, was a war between the Old Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems that started on April 17th, 1411 N.E. (0 ABG to March 9th, 2359 N.E. (948 ABG), the war lasted for over nearly 948 years, and because of this conflict, it reduced the Galaxy to ruins with the Old Republic now having to rebuild a war-torn galaxy.

While for the first three years of the conflict, the war only involved the Republic and Confederacy much like its' Viau counterpart, however, in 1414 NE (3 ABG), instead of a Galaxy-wide order carried out to the Clones killing all Jedi while also assaulting the Jedi Temple on Coruscant allowing for Palpatine to reformed the Republic into the Galactic Empire while also fulfilling the almost thousand year Sith plan like it did in the Viau Universe, the Filo Universe had a different outcome in that year. Thanks to the Combine's subtle infiltration, as well as unforeseen personality change and growth by Anakin Skywalker, Palpatine of the Filo Universe did not have Anakin turn to the dark side and in fact had him work with the Jedi in trying to stop him causing him to flee from the Chancellor's Apartment while giving out the signal to carry out Order 66 only for that to turn against him as the Combine had rewritten the order two years prior in a effort to kill the Sith Lord before showing themselves, rewritten it to have the Clones inform their Jedi commanders of Palpatine's true nature with a "Kill on Sight" order ontop of it. Further ensuring that Palpatine loses whatever support he had, the Combine also engineered a public broadcast to go out at the same time Order 66 does with it revealing Palpatine's true nature and scope of his plains across the galaxy which served two purposes, first, to ensure Palpatine loses all power and what support he had largely disappearing entirely and second, to demoralize the Filo's Skyriver Galaxy to make it easier to invade and conquer. With all that occurring at once, Filo's Palpatine was now in a state of panic, being forced to escape a Republic now out to capture him for his many, many crimes, as well as his conspiracy now undone seemingly out of nowhere.

Gathering what supporters he could, among them Filo's versions of Tarkin, Moore, and Amedda and his unit of Red Guard to escape and possibly rebuild his shattered base of support only to have the Combine send in teams of assassins to try and kill him and his few supporters and by the time the Jedi and Clones found him, Palpatine was all that survived and himself held by a strange, grub-like being with his supporters horrifically butchered then only to have this creature use telepathic abilities to turn Palpatine/Sidious inside out in a horrific display of power causing the Jedi and Clones to attack this unknown force to mix result. While many hope for the end of the war as Palpatine was declared dead, the unknown horror that was the Combine were just about to show itself and drag the Filo Universe into a much larger, much broader, and much bloodier war. From 1415 NE (4 ABG) the Combine would be involved in the war, turning the Confederacy into a open autocratic state while inflecting unimaginable horrors across the Filo Skyriver Galaxy, but the Republic was not alone now, as it now had allies to support it in the war, especially as the Combine made it clear they will not stop until the Galaxy was theirs, no matter how many worlds had to be burned or how many trillions butchered to do so.

History[]

Millenium Vendetta (1068 BBG-15 BBG) (433-1401 NE)[]

The origins of the Clone Wars dated back to the time of the Dark Age of the Old Republic's history as the Sith battled their ancient enemies, the Jedi, for control of the galaxy. The Sith suffered from infighting, which ultimately led to their defeat at the hands of the Jedi, despite the Jedi's belief that they had vanquished their foes, the Sith had in fact merely retreated into hiding. Darth Bane, the last surviving Dark Lord of the Sith, founded a philosophy known as the Rule of Two, which dictated that the entire Sith Order would be comprised solely of a master and an apprentice. Operating in the shadows, the Sith accumulated power and influence in preparation for the endgame of their grand plan: galactic domination and revenge against the Jedi.

From the remnants of the Old Republic, a modern Galactic Republic was formed. The Old Republic's armed forces were disbanded, leading the Jedi Order to assume the role of peacekeepers within the Republic, serving at the behest of the Senate and its Supreme Chancellor. Over time, the Senate incurred notoriety for its stagnant bureaucracy and corruption, and rifts emerged as the central Core Worlds—including the Republic's capital, Coruscant—became reputed for their willingness to exploit the resources of the outlying Outer Rim Territories. Adding to the morass of bureaucracy and inaction was the fact that corporate blocs such as the Trade Federation, the InterGalactic Banking Clan, and the Techno Union were granted Senate representation alongside the Republic's member worlds. n 102 BBG (XXXX NE), the Galactic Senate passed two critical pieces of legislation: the entire Outer Rim Territories were declared a Free Trade Zone, repealing numerous sector-level taxes. Since the Ruusan Reformations of 988 BBG (0XXX NE) and the abolition of a centralized Republic Navy, the Outer Rim had been plagued by piracy and slavers, breeding political isolation. The act hoped to jump-start legitimate commerce and so restore ties between the Core and the Rim. Additionally, the status of "functional constituencies" was extended to include Senatorial representation of the galaxy's largest guilds and corporations.

The issue of the Outer Rim polarized the Senate. By 32 BBG, a faction known as the Militarists had emerged on Coruscant, calling for the restoration of the centralized Republic Military to restore order on the Rim. Meanwhile, a terrorist group known as the Nebula Front declared its intention to fight the Trade Federation by any means necessary. Amid this political storm began the career of one Senator Palpatineof Naboo, representing the Chommell sector. Unbeknownst to all at the time and unclear to the rest of the galaxy until many decades later, Palpatine was in fact Darth Sidious, apprentice to the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Plagueis. Over the next two decades, he would manipulate the tensions between the Core and the Rim and the government and the Trade Federation to finally fulfill Darth Bane's Grand Plan, a thousand-year scheme by the Order of the Sith Lords to foment a war that would destroy the Republic.Palpatine had been using his double identity to infiltrate, deceive and eventually destroy the Jedi and Galactic Republic.

As Sidious, he fomented the Stark Hyperspace War of 24 BBG, a ruse cooked up by him, the Federation, and Iaco Stark so that the Trade Federation could demand additional rights to increase protection on its ships. As Palpatine, he worked his way into Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum's confidence as an opponent of the Trade Federation. In 11 BBG, he encouraged Valorum to restore taxation on the Outer Rim trade routes in order to break the Trade Federation's power. In exchange, Valorum offered the Neimoidians the right to unlimited defense of their merchant ships. However, the attack on their finances through taxation drove the Trade Federation, the IG Banking Clan, and the Corporate Alliance together. After a Eriadu Trade summit ended with disaster with four Federation board members murdered at Sidious' behest, Nute Gunray was elevated to the position of Trade Federation Viceroy. With the Trade Federation radicalized and Baktoid Armor Workshop and Haor Chall Engineering filling its ever-larger orders for a new Droid Army, Darth Sidious approached Gunray and encouraged him to make a stand that would force the Senate to back down over the taxation of trade routes.

Final Stages (1401-1411 NE)[]

- In 1401 N.E. (, The Invasion of Naboo began when the Trade Federation first initiated a blockade of the Naboo System, this was quickly followed by deployment of an occupation force. Queen Padme Amidala evacuated the planet and broke the blockade in order to beseech the Galactic Republic for aid. Failure to secure assistance, the Queen returned to Naboo and enlisted the aid the native gungans to help battle the droid armies. The Battle of Naboo saw the defeat of the Trade Federation and the liberation of Naboo, though Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn is killed in the battle.

- Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas hires the Kaminoans to build a clone army for the Galactic Republic.
