The Cage is a Multiversial Federation prison station located in the White Void, and possibly its' most famous, and infamous, prisons, constructed in the early days of the Federation's foundation. Originally, it was built to contain the known Multiverse's war-criminals before the Federation's creation. But as time went on, other prisoners and truly horrific people were sent here, ranging from assassins, tyrants, and mass killers, to powerful and dangerous beings like Berserker or Worship-class Morts or lifeforms too dangerous to be contained anywhere else for the foreseeable future.
Over the centuries, The Cage became feared by virtually every known criminals throughout the multiverse, knowing that being convicted there would certainly mean eternity in the White Void, or a death sentence on their belief.

Construction[]
About some point after the Multiversial Federation was founded after the Infection War, many saw that sentencing war criminals and most dangerous beings to remote planets or even remote asteroids as alternative to common prisons on civilized planets was not enough, and risk of endangering the civilian population should they escape. Decided the best place was the void between realities, making it impossible for anyone to escape without federation clearances. They hired scientists from many worlds to build a station, one in orbit of the other as a watchtower and access between realities, the other for the prisoners who have committed heinous crimes to serve their sentences. They planned out the construction for certain prisoners for places depending not the crime they committed, the further into the Cage, the more dangerous and hostile the convicts and beings be sent to prevent any attempts of escaping.

It would also suggest sending dangerous to be a suitable place to imprison beings and entities like certain Mort-types, often times belonging to either the berserker or worship classification, as well as extremely powerful individuals and beings. Creating another station to serve as a gateway to the Gate for the very dangerous entities and criminals too powerful to be contained anywhere else. They even sort to build it for one day imprison God-like Entities such as the Hunter one day in the distant future to ensure more universes be spared.
By 3658 NE, construction of the Cage had officially begun, even with the use of Ancient and Kilominitic technologies, the size of the construct would take centuries.
Nationalist Wars[]
The Cage was fully completed in 3943 NE, prisoners from the Nationalist Alliance were taken to the Cage as among the first. One of those they had captured were Decepticons sentence to serve their time, but before the shuttle could reach the Gateway station, they intercepted it and launched an attack, only to find a version of their leader, Megatron who was put in a maximum cell.

The Cage has a spheroid shape-design, its size and mass is said to be close to the TON 618 black hole. Unknown to the public, it is in much like a TARDIS with Gallifreyan technology, bigger moon the inside.

- The Station is often described as being the the size oc TON 618, the largest known black hole in the universe, built purely to contain all of the Known Multiverse's war criminals, tyrants, and dangerous Morts, and given how half of what was used to create this station also includes various Ancient Human and Kilominitic technology, which is shown to bend, if not break, the very laws of reality itself, it makes sense this station can be built as big as it is. Internally is an entirely different manner, as it also uses Gallifreyan technologies to make it much bigger then it is on the outside, with its' internals roughly four times the size of the average universe.
- According to Endea, upon her encounter with the Rick Sanches variations, Siegfried had considered it a place for them due to his history with them and how dangerous they can be which made certain to make the Cage as impossible for any like him to escape so easily.
