Arthur Harold Kanda, better known as "The Jester" is a Male First-Gen Transrace Human who once served the Empire of the Combine Race as one of its' many soldiers. Like many First Gens he was tortured into forgotten his old life before he was killed and resurrected by the Combines, although he did managed to retain his old name despite the progress. However, over the centuries of forced service to the Combines the man slowly broke down mentally until he fully broke into a type of psychosis, laughing madly at every horrific he was forced to do. And yet the Combines continued to use him in their operations despite his clear insanity, and only made it worse by encouraging his madness, cruelty and violence tenfold.
At somepoint in 2064 NE the man brutally butchered his entire unit he was assigned to and escaped, but did not join either force, instead he became a feared serial killer and mass murderer that quickly became feared across the Known Multiverse at the time, and despite the best efforts of the Axis, Alliance, and even Coalition, they could neither find or capture the monster, becoming something akin to a horror story told around campfires the Multiverse over.
Eventually he was captured and sentenced to death but not before traumatizing a group of wouldbe victims on Rai'kui Earth.

- Unlike the vast majority of TransRace individuals, he has his eyes and teeth replaced completely, his eyes with cybernetics that is black in color and have blood red glowing irises while his teeth has been replaced with razor sharp teeth that he often shows through his many creepy and psychotic smiles
- His mental break down, as well as his full name, was written in a journal he once had, with the noticeable change in sanity being frantic and disturbing amount of Arthur Harold Kanda being written repeatedly for several pages before stopping abruptly.
- He has scars around his eyes indicating that he violently ripped out his own eyes before having them replaced.
- He's effectively a Transrace version of the Joker only more horrific and twisted, mostly, there are a number of Jokers that outdo him in terms of cruelty and brutality.
