The Protector, also known as the God of Heroism, but also nicknamed as The White Knight is a Mort and one of The Entities to exist in the Known Multiverse, known to represent Bravery, Heroism and the Righteousness. Many know this entity as a being that is willing to stand for what is right and what is wrong in order to rival its counterpart and arch enemy, the Fallen, which represents the embodiment of evil and villainy, clashing one another with their ideals.

The Protector created the rise of heroes to protect their worlds and fight for noble causes to main the balance of good and evil in every reality, ensuring the Fallen or other Entities of such do not gain the upper advantage.

History[]

The Protector was 'born' alongside many of its fellow entities, it had mixed relations with most of the Entities, mainly those who abuse their abilities across the multiverse, It started to see itself in need to help worlds in need.

Decided to learn much about the sapient races and studied those such as the certain human of the First Human Empire, eventually came into interactions with a princess to pose as her guard and learn much of their empire in friction during the Second Human Civil War between the Monarchist and the Republican factions fighting amongst each other. The Entity was unable to prevent an assassination of the princess when she tried helping others to escape.

The whole area was turned into smithereens, her dying body when viciously stabbed in the chest and died in The Protector’s embrace. The entity stayed with her and realise the mistake they made for not doing anything and promised her to do what it will, by proclaiming as The Protector from being inspired by her selfless act.

Becoming the Protector[]

Main article: Heroic Rebellion

Following its path as the Protector with chaos and injustice so common, using its abilities to tap into the minds of the sapients to fight for selflessness, noble act and for justice against the wrong doings. Learning about the actions and influences made by some of the Entities to encourage the war and other cruelties. The Protector then formed an army, which most of them composed of variants of the heroes from across the multiverse with the Protector's current herald and trained them with various sorts of equipment to preserve the peace throughout the conflicts. This led to a major conflict with another known as The Fallen could not allow this to happen and gathered others to challenge the Protector and it's army, leading into a war but while the rivalling entities had the triple of effectives than the Protector's forces, their followers had found themselves to less organized than the Protector's. This confrontation lasted for many years and came to an end, defeating its rivals in victory. The Protector realized that following the path of heroism and inspire the sapients would make the multiverse to fight the corruption and chaos that exist.

With the Combine, an multi dimensional empire spreading their conflicts and brutality, the Protector saw such carnage and needed to do something Learning of The Hunter's plan, along with it's rivals' intention of bringing destruction to the multiverse, upon it's visitation of Ou'kizil Earth in 1403 NE when it learned from The Record Keeper that this was an alternate Earth to the other of which the Britannian Empire never was conquered and instead in a middle of a rebellion set up by the exiled prince. Posing as a humble man who was fount a human named Suzaku Kururugi, changing this variant's fate by helping him to safe the third imperial princess Euphemia Li Britannia from being taken off world as a hostage by Giloma Vil Fillaker. Inspiring him to actually do something then to submit to the conquerers who will eventually wipe out his people. Seeking out the survivors of the war to inspire rebellions and buy time to liberate their world with outside forces who are against the Combine.

The Multiverse War[]

The Protector used its abilities to inspire other beings to fight back. Even learned of such heroes to stay true to the paths such as speaking with The Lover changing a Jedi named Anakin Skywalker from the Filo Universe to change his fate to fight for his love, despite The Timekeeper's reluctance but proved valid to allow the Alliance of Nations to stand against the Axis of Empires.

Gathering Heroes[]

The Protector received a visit from The Timeline Creator who showed the Protector of possible fates to happen in the future, gathering heroes from certain realities to play a major role in the Great War and the future conflicts. Learning about the existence of the Great Weaver that watches over the Spider-Totems. It intervened to save those for greater purpose such as rescuing May Parker, daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson from the Veqea'dale Multiverse who was originally meant to die by Norman Osborn and raised in another universe. Sensing a disturbance of the heroes turning against each other and the moment of Spider-Man's aunt nearing death, The Protector realised this was The Fallen's plan and other Morts to cause the Heroes to turn against each other, stepping in to offer the vigilante another chance where as he and his wife would realise their daughter is alive and well, granting them a chance to be with her, but also to be splintered in two variants to avoid disrupting the timeline of their reality where as their alternate versions would not be married at the price of saving his aunt's life.

Vought Intervention[]

The Protector learned of a corruption of heroes abusing their powers in 2422 N.E. and saw them as a threat if they continued too follow this path if The Fallen continued to influence the ones in universes related to the Tevei'vaikuji Universe to embrace their true villainess side, unable to allow this to happen and called for the heroes to put an end to this.

In the battle between the Super and heroes, The Protector then decided to make its pressence known and swiftly swatting a random Supe through wall with a single palm, startling many to witness its power and marching its way towards the startled Homelander and declared to face him. Proclaiming itself as the being beyond gods, ignoring Homelander’s remark if it’s ‘boast’ but took no response and glaring at him, proclaiming him as the lowest scum who dare call himself a hero for the crimes he has committed because he believed himself to be better than anyone. Easily proven it's powers to easily catch a fast moving fist without a flinch and grabbed him by the throat, withstanding the Supes’ most powerful attacks.

Travels to the Zaat'uiiko[]

Mentorship[]

Mystic

The Protector as an elderly mystic

The Protector sensed the near destruction of one of the realities of the Zaat'uiiko Universe by a being named Medea, disappointed in the actions of the so-called heroes, yet with the United Civilizations' aid of making the Shield Hero stronger, but saw stronger forces at work, namely the The Fallen at work to ensure it's destruction. it decided to play the role as a mentor and lecture the other heroes, even the Trash King to let go of his hate of a lost cause.

It first approached a version of Ren Amaki, the current Sword Hero who had slain a dragon without hesitation in believe it was a threat. Asking the Sword Hero what being one truly means, received a response that its about being stronger and mastering the legendary sword, nothing else and claims he is the chosen hero, there for doesn't need do anything else. Even complimented that he preferred being alone than being with a party. The 'elder', disapproved of such an answer responded to him that without friends and loved ones, he would be alone and one must know what it truly means to be a hero through hardships and times of need to prove himself. But Ren didn't take 'his' criticism lightly and left

Finding the treasure, it found the villagers unworthy for deceiving the hero and saved its adopted daughter and took their treasure with it, coldly added how he left the dragon's corpse be displayed in such a manner that he did not realise a plague was unleashed. Sends the child to the Alliance as an orphan he found and left without them knowing its identity.

Manifested as a wanderer when coming across the Hero of the Bow, itsuki kawasumi who was leading a group to start an uprising in a kingdom for overcharging the lands. The 'elder' first complimented on his deeds, but questioned if it was the right thing. Even questioned he truly is the Bow Hero he claimed considering how anyone could pose as one and said to have fought from the shadows. receiving a cold insult from one of his party members, Mald for questioning him and demanded the 'old man' to show respect to their hero, however the 'mystic' coldly silenced him with a simple look and continued speaking with the Bow Hero, regardless of his party's presence. While commenting on his needs to be recognised, but suggested to perhaps use words rather than action and did not like the look of the ones he brought with him for the uprising.

Personality[]

It is often described as a kind hearted, an absolute gentleman that knows how to treat everyone. The Entity is also described as someone who can't stand injustice, especially by the cause of it's rivals and enemies, such as The Hunter, The Vanquisher, The Brawler, and most of all The Fallen as it's counterpart as the manifestation of Evil and Villainy. Should the Protector witnesses some, will not doubt for a second to intervene. As a protector, it would take its role and shares the same values as The Liberator.

Similiar to its' rival, the Protector is rather broad when it comes to what it embodies, as heroism varies from species, civilizations, and societies immensely and constantly change with time, its' so broad not even it knows how exact its' embodiment entails.

While the Protector is a heroic individual it does not mean that it won't outright kill its' opponents or villains' entirely depending on how much of a greater threat they pose, due to being an none-corporeal being and willingly take the burden from others to do what they could not since it has lived for countless eons and will outlive them., just as it had with Homelander during their one-sided fight to end the atrocities he has committed. The one thing the Protector despises more than villains are those who proclaim themselves as heroes and abuse their power over others, especially certain false heroes who were summoned by deities to save certain worlds and will not hesitate to punish them severely for their crimes.

Powers and Abilities[]

Like all Entities, The Protector is immortal and a non-corporeal being, able to travel to travel to other realities and take on other forms, however it seems that its common form is of a knight with wings to represent the heroic and gallant hero. However, this appearance often changes in response to the local culture, it also has the ability to materialize weapons out of thin air and has also shown knowledge in all forms of fighting but by far the most powerful abilities is that it can bring heroes back to life as long as they are represented in it’s temple.

We have the power to destroy the Multiverse itself trillions upon trillions upon trillions of times over. We could reforge and control universes down to their' atoms and particles. We could and have killed gods, all gods, even the most powerful of gods fall before us. To me, you. are. a. ant. No, lower, a microorganism. Notes[]

  • Although this is up to debate, there has been speculation that due to the Protector's good manners and courtesy, it has good relations with The Lover (with some artistical interpretations portraying them as a couple), often assisted for heroes to have descendants or be born. This is attributed to the good relationship that the Lover's and the Protector's 'worshipers' has that often ends with their marriage.
  • Despite it representing Bravery, Heroism and Righteousness; it also seems to represent other things like Loyalty, Honor, Valor and Redemption. As Heroes often fight for their ideals and principles and based on that they decided for what it's worth fighting for.
  • While it always appear as some kind of armored figured, the Protector's armor style varies heavily depending upon the are it finds itself in, with constantly changing based on the culture and society of the civilization in question, but they all have some kind of red colored cloth, be it a cap, a scarf, a shemagh, or similar.
  • Similiar to its' rival, the Protector is rather broad when it comes to what it embodies, as heroism varies from species, civilizations, and societies immensely and constantly change with time, its' so broad not even it knows how exact its' embodiment entails.
  • The Protector may have been responsible for certain universes to have heroes (such as DC Comics, Marvel, Power Rangers, and Invincible for example). Giving the state of the chaos that has swept the various universes, it usually befriends heroes and more often then not beings that's becomes its' best friends/heralds are beings regarded as the greatest paragons.
  • Depending upon the villain in question, the Protector is shown to be quite sadistic purposefully using its' powers and abilities to prologue their suffering for as long as possible to either make a point or make them feel every horror they had inflicted upon people.
  • While the Protector is a heroic individual it does not mean that it won't outright kill its' opponents or villains' entirely, it has, and will do for eons to come, just as it had with Homelander during their one-sided fight.
  • Although at times, the Protector has had several heralds throughout history, it commonly regards the heroes who fight for noble causes as honorary status. Making the Protector technically the only Entity who has more than one herald.
