Vito Hydan was born in 80 BBY in Krownest, the eldest child of Hilda Wren and Thorax Hydan. During her childhood, she spent playing games with both her younger siblings, Eudora and Flora. In his youth, Vito learned the history of the Combine Empire and prepared a sadistic plan to make his own dynasty, House Hydan, as powerful as the Combine. According to this plan, he first poisoned his father, Thorax Hydan, and then declared himself Mandaloore and began to rule his planet Mandalore. During his time on Mandaloore, Vito made his first marriage to Nabo nobleman Sola Naberrie, which resulted in sons Wilius and Varis Hydan. However, the marriage was short-lived. Vito divorced Sola and deleted all records about Sola. While growing up, Wilius and Varis were constantly beaten by Vito, and therefore they spent most of their lives with their best friend Padme Amidala. As a result of Vito's tyrannical regime, pacifists in Mandalore began to gain power under the leadership of Flora Hydan, and they would soon launch a rebellion led by Satine Kryze. As a result of this rebellion, Vito Hydan died and his son, Wilius, whom he constantly beat when he was a child, was declared the new Patriarch of the Hydan House.
