Volnk'zoeek Universe

The Volnk'zoeek Universe is one of many universes that exist in the Known Multiverse and well known for having many pirates originated from the planet Sanjin. It was discovered in 2409 NE during the First Aftermath Era by a Alliance Joint Military scouting force as it was one of the universes chosen by the Emperor’s Final Orders.

History

Early History

Acfording to historians, an ancient race of Winged humanoids colonised Sanjin’s moon, Birka, they were referred to as “Moon People” by most races of the planet and when the resources were used up in the moon, most of their descendants chose chose to settle on the planet’s atmosphere, few settled the islands on the surface and would later become known as Skypieans, shandorians and Lunarians. The remains of their settlement were their technology, architecture and a race of robots called Atuomata.

Alliance Discovery

Once they arrived they went out to search for the Universe's version of Earth to determine the similarities and or differences between this verse's version and other Earths in the wider Multiverse. What they found was quite a surprise for the crew on the ship, one being the larger percentage of water to land found on the planet, with only one major continent existing which splits the planet in half between the western and eastern hemisphere. From a glance the planet does not seem all that different from other worlds but upon further observations discover that the planet is remarkably strange, so much so that the Alliance all but regards the planet as a Plains-touched world due to these strange abnormalities such as fruits that give the consumer powers at the cost of their ability to swim and many inhabitants to gain physical and mental abilities. This in turn lead to further studies relating to the planet and the Alliance sending in teams of undercover agents (one of whom being Mulan Yujo) to further the studies relating to the planet.

While officially the Alliance only found the universe by happenstance, unofficially, it was very much intended on the Alliance's part due to creditable evidences to suggest the universe hold a Emperor's Final Orders facility somewhere in it, and that one of the Final Orders agents is in the universe trying to reach it and activate its' terrible holdings. So the Alliance sent a scouting force into the universe to give them the ability to further their search in order to prevent panic among the Alliance's population given the nature of the Emperor's Final Orders. But they a bit slow as the agent, one Saikanur Ianakani, a member of the Emperor's Occult, have been in the universe for six months and was already close to finding the facility he was tasked with finding and awakening. A month after the Alliance's Scouting force first arrived, he found it.

Shortly after Ianakani found the Purge Facility, he unleashed its' holding, entirely made up of the infamous the Evisorax, Combine modified demons from all corners of the Multiverse, onto the planet in a horrific event later known as the Demon Assault of Sanjin that lasted for three months before the Alliance managed to destroy the Combine modified demons, but left nearly all of the planet in ruins in the process, and the planetary government that largely governed the planet dissolved entirely. In order to help the planet rebuild and to prevent other forces from attacking it, the Alliance placed it under a protectorate status and help construct a new planetary government with members of the Revolutionary Army lead by Monkey D. Dragon to replace the government that had collapsed as a result of the chaos brought to the planet by the Evisoraxs. In the months since the declaration of Alliance protectorate status, Sanjin was reunified under the banner of the new Sanjini Federation, with Monkey D. Dragon as its' first publicly elected leader.

With the World Government disbanded, the Alliance and the Federation were free to publish the true history of the Void Century that had been erased by the leaders, but also made certain any knowledge of the weapons and powers would believe to be long gone from falling in the wrong hands.

Notable Differences

• Although this universe shares many similarities but several differences
  • The name of the main planet, Sanjin, is based off the last part of the Sumiyoshi sanjin, Japanese ocean deities.
• The official calander of this would be the Age of Heaven (AOH) by the Mont Blanc Noland and the Age of the Sea Circle (ASC) calendar by Arabasta. As according to the canon source, the timeline would be set in the 16th century. As it was implied that Noland's log was 11 June, 1120 ASC, 400 years before the Age of Pirates. This would imply that by the post-time-skip, the current date would be 1522 ASC.
