Thryons (Second Human Empire name Zii'kkio Ais'knno) are a dinosaur-like race of humanoid hadrosaurs native to the planet known as Thryon Prime, capital of the Thryonus Empire, an ally of the Semerian Commonwealth and enemy of the Melderon Union and the Zhecron Alliance. Militaristic, intelligent, and ruthless, they view themselves and like-minded beings like the Semerians as "racially superior" to all others and practice a warrior-based culture that praises the Emperor, the ruler of the Empire, as a god-like figure. Much of their ideals are similarly modeled after Japan during the Second World War as well as the Roman Empire. Although some remain neutral, most Thryons align themselves with the Coalition of Independent States, and later the Hegemony of Independent States.
