Walter Carlsen, known more infamously as the Butcher of Onides, was the second husband of Mulan Yujo and the father of Miyako and Ashley Yujo. Intentionally a very pleasant and charming man to Mulan when they first met in 561 AXC (1821 NE) and the first five years of their marriages, it slowly turned worse as he became increasingly more distant and emotionally abuse as well as increasingly more controlling and manipulative, especially in regards to his frequent trips off the planet they called home. The reason why he became more controlling and manipulative was due to what he was doing on Onides, the planet he goes to for months long trips, unaware to both his wife and daughters, Walter Carlsen was in fact a gunslinger serial killer who frequently travel from town to town on Onides and slaughter everyone and leaving behind no survivors or witness to his massacres, at least, he thought. Evidently he had some survivors he was unaware of that eventually spoke of a man on Onides that eventually reach offworld and to Mulan especially, which the descriptions of the butchers features was strikingly similar to her husband and while she did disbelieve them as lies a part of her feared it was true and travelled to Onides to confirm them

During Mulan's travels, she saw more and more evidence of his atrocities and brutality and the most damning of it was catching him in the act of one of his many massacres, leading to the two arguing bitterly for hours with two effectively screaming at one another until Walter tried to kill her causing a fight to erupt between husband and wife through the burning and ruined town with survivors watching from a distance. After a hour of fighting, Mulan ended up mortally wounded Walter to her horror but tried to bring him to the authorities only for Walter to kill himself out of spite, ending her second marriage.

Notes

• Walter is based on a combination of Buster Scruggs from the Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and Candie and Schultz from Django Unchained, specifically Buster's affably Evil nature and is white color western look as well as being something of a singing cowboy who also happen to be incredibly skillful gunslinger but combined the effectively and intelligence of Schultz and the rare sociopathy and sadism of Candie.
• in-universe he based much of his Onides's clothing around a figure he greatly admires, the infamous pre-worlds war mercenary and bounty hunter Patience Fallon, who also largely wore white-colored clothing.
