The Xehanort Conflict, also referred to as the Second Keyblade War, was the name used to refer to the brief and relatively bloodless conflict started by Xehanort Cheirismos and his actions bring about Kingdom Hearts appearance and the efforts of the Guardians of Light to stop him and his group he created to achieve said goal and the culmination of the Xehanort Crisis that began in 0 AXC (1260 NE). While not a true conflict in the traditional sense of the term, it did cause considerable havoc to multiple worlds in the Malica Universe and was among the two primary factors that led to the collapse of the period of isolationism among the majority of Malica by later Heartless Empire and Commonwealths historians as the two events began the process that permanently shattered the old status que.
Given the nature of the conflict, it is difficult to place when it began, with Malican historians debating the start of the conflict, but for the majority of Malica's population it is generally assumed that the conflict began in late 11 AXC (1271 NE). Its' end, however is more readily agreed upon with it ending in 12 AXC (1272 NE) with the apparent death of Xehanort and the disappearance of Sora Yujo and consequently began the Search for Sora.
